Detailed Reviews
Colorado in the fall is absolutely beautiful!! And we thoroughly enjoy staying at Riverbend RV Resort in South Fork, CO. Great location to the Rio Grande River, Wolf Creek Ski Lodge, & Creed, CO. Just take a drive and take in all the beauty Colorado has to offer. The staff at Riverbend is so friendly and helpful. This is a wonderful facility. They treat us like family. This was our 2nd year to stay with them and we will definitely go back.

We stayed in the Brooke cabin for 3 nights and couldn’t have been happier. It is small but has everything you need to be very comfortable. Sitting on the porch watching the birds...bird food is provided and there is a feeder on each cabin...was fabulous with a lovely view of the river. There are restaurants nearby and the kitchen is equipped for cooking at the cabin. We drove the Bachelor Loop and also went to the North Clear Creek Falls. It was a wonderful Covid compliant trip.

We rented a cabin during the New Year Holidays and were so pleased. The snow was beautiful, the location backed up to the river under gorgeous mountains. The owners and staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The only thing that could have been better was a bigger fireplace, but even the wood was provided. Our kids had a blast sliding down the snow bank and it was clean and pet friendly. The owner even split some kindling for the fireplace to help us get it going. I just hope that we can go again soon.

I paid for a pull thru spot Via reservations, said I was 38’ and towing. If it were not so late and we were not so very tired I would have up and left and I’m sure lost my $ from the deposit. The guys on the golf cart were there and very nice but this after a long trip was ridiculous to expect of a guest imo. Well, you cannot pull thru spot 9 the circle is blocked off at one end. I had to disconnect car and remove tow dolly and then maneuver the coach into the spot with a three point turn, then pull tow dolly over to coach and reconnect. All of this after it rained on us most of the way there. We could not extend our canopy as it would extend into drive, this is all very sad imo for the price we paid and a vacation in Colorado. Then the internet was down and when you are in the mountains that’s bad as we couldn’t even hotspot on our phones. Then we go up and ask where their hot tub is to relax and the lady tells us outside around the corner, we go out and the lid is on it with an out of order sign, really! I would NOT recommend, too tight and an unpleasant stay. Oh, also we arrived early enough to get to the restaurant we researched but with all of this occurring at the park and this COVID stuff the restaurant has closed by the time I had done all of this.

Checked into resort cabin Columbine Aug 22 2023. My wife and I both have bad backs and the bed in the main bedroom was horrible. According the book in the room the cabin was refurbished, with what I am unsure. We stayed for three nights and we were scheduled for four nights. We left early because we had not slept. The couch next to the wall in the living room was beat, sunk in the middle and horrible to sit in. The other couch was not much better. We left early and asked the front desk lady for a one night refund and were denied but she took our information to forward to the owner for review. Not a response and this disgusts me. I have pictures of the couches and the bed mattress without a cover. The location is fine but if you are selling this on the pretense that your cabins are great you are sorely missing the mark. I am a outdoors man and understand camping, but the beds in your cabins should be top notch and they are anything but that, too bad!!!!!!!!!!!
My RV would have been better as my mattress inside it is top notch but I did not want to drag it up there!!!!
Won't make that mistake again and because of the no response to assure happy customers like me I will never return!!!!!!!
I did not ask for a refund on the nights stayed, I should have but did not just the night not used. I read your policy but however you have no business charging for something that does not work for your customer.
Thanks

We stayed in the Blue Spruce cabin. Beautiful view and very clean. Everyone were friendly and helpful. Our pets enjoyed the low windows where they could look out and enjoy the wild life - birds and chipmonks. They are very pet friendly. We even had snow which was a great surprise in September, but the fireplace added to the enjoyment. They furnished the firewood and also bird seed for the feeder. We put our name on a waiting list to bring our RV motorhome to spend a month next summer. Thanks for the rest and relaxation we needed.

While the campground is in a good location with nice views, the views aren't really visible because there are so many RV's packed in there. Private space was very limited and sitting outside didn't feel private at all. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The Riverbend Resort is adjacent to a river and surrounded by mountains. Definitely get one of the river view RV sites. They are amazing. I have not been to a more beautiful place - yet. Lots of cabins and tent sites as well. Laundry room use is based on weather, but there is a super nice laundromat a few miles away. Great place to get away from the chaos of everyday life. We just got here yesterday and I am so impressed that I decided to review it prior to leaving. It’s that great!

Very nice cabins, all the amenities you might need. Enjoyed our trip and loved the bird watching and the fishing. This was our first stay at Riverbend, will be staying again ASAP. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. The owners are very accommodating and made our stay easy so we could just enjoy our getaway.

My family and I have been coming to this lovely campground place for years. The clever owners continue to make this campground more magical every year. This year, we stayed in the brand new Stumptown cabins. They were so comfortable - great beds and the linens were amazing! If you get a chance to meet the owners, stop and talk to them. They have a ton of knowledge about the history of the area - and the staff is really kind and knowledgeable about the area. We will be back for all seasons and Riverbend Resort is definitely a year round destination!

Yes it is, very nice campground and cabins, no tents like on the movie, but beautiful location!
The is no pool. But there was a hot tub next to the office area. We didn’t use, but others were there. Very enjoyable place to visit. Everyone was extremely friendly.
