Beautiful cabin with all the amenities of home for a very reasonable price. The entire area was clean and very relaxing. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. If I need to stay in the South Fork area again I will definitely be staying here again.
I stayed in Cabin 10 for three nights. I could not get over how quiet the resort was. The place was packed with RV's, but everyone was well behaved and respectful. I had a very pleasant stay. Cabin 10 provided nice basic accommodation with a comfortable bed, small table, small kitchenette, and small shower. Wifi was good. My only wish was for reading lamps beside the bed. Cost was very reasonable at the height of summer tourist season. I would stay here again.
I had a wonderful time building fires, reading on the porch and baking goodies in the oven. The cabins are rustic ("old") but that was exactly what I wanted, plus the wifi was reliable and the staff was very accommodating. Will absolutely be back.
So we liked this place so much we stayed an extra week. We're full time RV'ers and love South Fork and this RV park is great. Wifi iffy but adequate. Location central for activities. Folks here help to solve any problems, and make your stay enjoyable. Will stay here again if in the area.
We have stayed in the Grandview Cabins 2 times in the past year: Cabin #7 in Sept. 2020 and Cabin #6 this past week (July 2021). The hosts are very friendly and helpful with both the campground info and info on the surrounding area. The cabins are old, but CLEAN and comfortable. We enjoyed riding our SXS from the cabin to the trails everyday of our trip. Already planning trips in August and September!
My family and I enjoyed an early summer trip to South Fork and stayed in Cabin #3. The cabin was nice, with the exception of the shower. The shower reminds me of an old camp or gym shower. It was tiled with simply a curtain on the outside. This would not have been bad, but the shower head sprayed a few streams of water, but they went so many directions it was near impossible to get wet enough to rinse off. The oven/range was gas, and was in good working order, as was the rest of the kitchen. Again, this one is older, but kept, and for the price was I would still rate as a good value. There is no A/C, so be advised it can get warm on a hot summer day, but when in this part of the world, being at the cabin in the afternoon shouldn't be a priority. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and overall we enjoyed our stay.…
We spent the weekend in Cabin #5 and loved it! The cabins were built in the 1920s, and even though they have been updated, the charm has been preserved. Some of the things we loved include: the soft sheets and comfy beds, the original windows that open from the top, the original hardware, the porch and porch swing, dog walking area, the very nice owners, watching the hummingbirds, visiting with neighbors, very conveniently located, hot shower, WiFi, coffee pot & equipped kitchen. Thank you for a great weekend.
Accommodations were great for our 5th wheel. The RV park had a fish cleaning station which came in so handy during our stay as we fished 5 straight days at different locations nearby. We also went on sight seeing drives and hikes, all gorgeous views. Kevin and his helpers were all helpful and kind. We were on the go so much that we were only able to meet a few fellow campers, who all stay for multiple months year after year, another testament to everything great about this place.
I’m not sure why this place doesn’t have more reviews. I booked three cabins here (economy, panoramic, and traditional). All cabins were huge and clean. Fully stocked with kitchen supplies to include coffee and filters. The panoramic cabin would have comfortably fit all of us (9) but we elected to get three cabins instead. The park is huge and well taken care of. The owner offers free firewood onsite, along with a HUGE fire pit. The property has a hot tub and free WiFi. The cabins stayed warm. This place is pet friendly. It is located within a two minute drive to the liquor store and rainbow grocery store. The owner was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again! It was a great family getaway.
We stayed a week to look at houses in the area and stayed in a cozy clean cabin. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The hospitality was great! We will visit again and highly recommend this place!
