We visit Fun Valley regularly and this summer we visited again. We generally stay in Long Term sites. Spaces are cramped in this section but the monthly rate is acceptable. In addition to over 400 RV sites, the park has RV rentals and cabins with kitchenettes. The park has a restaurant that serves 3 meals daily in a cafeteria style.... More

This is our 5th trip to FV and can see the difference new owners can make. Change can be painful, and the old FV definitely needed some new infrastructure. Luckily this is happening in the form of electronic booking and billing, up to code electrical, plumbing, etc. I didn't find anyone grumpy or unpleasant. However, if you're looking for a... More

Coming from Florida and having worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, I really wanted to give this place a higher rating. There are some really great things about this place. We were there on like day two of the new owners and the poor staff were all working with new systems and you could tell some of... More

We've been coming to Fun Valley for the last 15 years, this year was a little different! I'll try to make this short and sweet. Positives: Upgraded electrical to run the AIR CONDITIONING in our camper on site! This was a big deal!! Thank you new owners! Electronic check in system... no more paper trail! Clean park Lots of ponds... More

As RV parks go this is a good one. Lots of things to do and activites for both adults and kids. Mostly is the dozen or so ponds throughout the property where you can fish for your dinner. The park taps water right off the South Fork of the Rio Grande and it funnels threw the park so no matter... More

What a hidden treasure, nestled in a canyon just outside of South Fork, Fun Valley is bordered by huge cliffs, a tree covered mountain, and the south fork of the Rio Grand River. It is beautiful, relaxing, loaded with things to do, and quite economical. We have gone for a week each year for the past three, and just keep... More

We used to go every summer when the kids were little. Many of the people that go have been coming for many years, as children, parents and grandparents. Also, many of the folks working there have been going for generations. There is a dining hall that serves meals at set times as well as the snack shack for in between... More

This place use to be so great. Now its pretty much a summer retirement home for old grumpy people. I have spent a few weeks a year for about 25 years up here until 2013. The new owners continue to go up on everything every year. I understand they have to make money but $8 for put put golf is... More

Rating "poor" only because of the following: Looking for a place for large family reunion. This place would not allow even a guided tour of their facility, stating due to an insurance issue with children in park. That is understandable, however, I was requesting a guided tour. They have a brochure, but as a representative for a large group of... More
