Alyssa kicked us off the pool table without any warning (i.e., “hey guys we need to clear the area in 10”) after we had just put in a dollar to play. This woman decided that kicking us off the pool table instead of letting us finish our game was “the right thing to do.” What the f*** happened to customer service? It’s not like we were being loud and causing a ruckus. There were three of us and we would have been more than happy to expedite our game. Alyssa should be reprimanded and should have to take customer service lessons.
Location was perfect but the hotel was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I knew I was staying at a lower price point than a resort hotel but put this hotel in any major city and they would charge hourly. Chipped paint coming from the ceiling, broken wooden floor boards, door trim was cracked so cold air blowed all night (no extra blankets) 40 yr old tub/shower with exposed plumbing and that’s just the beginning. Never again
We stayed here numerous times in 1990’s and early 2000. Thinking this facility had been updated many times since then, we thought how bad could it be. Well, it’s worse than we could have imagined. It’s run down and in need of a major update. No hangers. No trash can. No tv remote. Stepped on loose, sharp screw in laying carpet. Ideal for anyone who just wants a no-frills room.
Very basic rooms which open to outside. Clean, totally worn out, plain and dour looking. Hot water , TV and other utilities worked adequately. Staff from Brazil barely competent. The location is excellent, and is the only thing that saves this place from oblivion.
Aspen for the winter holidays should be something to look forward to!! Which I was and thought this hotel would be great for their location and reasonable prices (compared to the surrounding area at this seasonal time). Only thing I had was a warm roof over my head. Upon arrival, there’s no one at the front desk. Had to call a different number left on the front desk which was for the hotel next door. Just to have to wait 25 mins for someone to run over to check me in. I reserved a King room with a view. I was given a queen room in the back with no view. He said since I arrived late they sold my room. My room was already paid for my 2 week stay (+$5,000.00) and my flight was delayed. I asked the guy at the front desk why they would give my room away, he said no one showed up. But confused because it’s already paid for. Not just a reservation. I told him I tried contacting the hotel about my delayed flight but no one would answer. The guy was rude and I said I didn’t come here to argue with anyone. I asked him why was he acting like I’m the one inconveniencing him. He responded that I should be lucky he ran over here from next door. Baffled, I laughed and said just give me my room. Obviously no one answered because I don’t think there are any employees actually working here. It should be an automated system where we self check in ourselves and choose a room ourselves because there’s no need for employees here. I stayed for 2 weeks, I usually have a do not disturb tag on my door. But remove it when I need my room serviced. After a couple days of returning to my room and not getting service. I left a note on the door asking for service please!!! Still no service. I leave early and come home late. I am not around during the day to possibly take a min to speak to someone who can help. So of course I tried calling during my day. No answer!!! Yay take my $5K and don’t care about your guests and their hard earned money. We should definitely look into robotic management or something. Because this hotel needs help. Especially when they apparently don’t respect the money they are taking. After my 2 weeks stay do you think I ever had any service. Nooo wayyy ha!! Definitely won’t be staying in this hotel again. Felt like a shelter. …
Zero stars for this hotel. I’ve stayed at Motel 6’s they were a LOT nicer. Exposed wiring in the room, no toilet paper holder (it’s balanced on the edge of the tub), scratched and damaged furniture and torn carpets. Avoid this place.
Had an excellent stay at Wildwood! The staff were very friendly and accommodating & our view from the kind bed suite was the best part! This is one of the most affordable stays in the area so I’d highly recommend it! Love easy access to the Last Chair restaurant/bar & sister restaurant Stark’s Alpine Grill a short walk away.
Don’t expect much here. It’s a dingy motel….ok for an affordable crash pad. I’m surprised their website mentions they have a spa. I don’t think I would even swim in the pool. I paid about $275 for a Sat night in July……insanely overpriced. This is a cheap motel room.
This hotel has no air conditioning, outdated application, elevators that don’t work. And will not refund after finding out they had no ac. 80 degrees in my room and I have a medical condition that doesn’t allow me to overheat. They do not care. STAY AWAY
What a dump. This place has not seen any real maintenance in a very long time. Holes in the walkways covered with plywood curling up on the edges, Everything is in need of a coat of paint. Washers and dryers don't work but will take your money. Laundry/ice/snack machine room was filthy. The pool was in good shape but both hot tubs were “Out of Order.” No staff response about partiers at the pool being loud very late at night when the pool was supposed to be closed. Shower/tub valves worn out. Toilet ran all the time. But...the room was well appointed with lots of storage and hooks. Small refrigerator & TV worked well but there was no microwave. Most of the hotels here do not have a/c but there was no fan to blow in cool air from the window. I was WAY overcharged for this 7 day stay. Some of the staff were indifferent to the problems, others were not.…
