THE LAURELWOOD offers spacious, recently updated ski-in/ski-out condominium suites. Each individually owned and decorated suite has a private balcony or patio with an electric barbeque grill, wood-burning fireplace and full kitchen. The 540-square-foot studios accommodate up to four people comfortably. For privacy, a floor-to-ceiling partition wall can be pulled to enclose the bedroom, which features a queen-sized bed. Two doors to the bathroom - one from the bedroom, one from the living space enable greater privacy and convenience. Each studio also includes a queen sleeper sofa. Enjoy the convenience of free wireless internet, free worldwide calling and satellite television with multiple HBO channels. At the end of the day relax in our spectacular two-tier stone hot tubs. Available in premier or deluxe room types, our condominium suites are based on interior decor, regardless of view.

From first landing in Aspen airport with a voucher for the taxi to bring us to Laurelwood, we felt very well taken care of the whole time we were there. The Condominium is the most friendly and efficiently run place I have stayed. Ski in and ski out, hot tub in the backyard. Comfy bed and well-stocked room. Bonus of housekeeping service as well. Free bus service to take you anywhere in Snowmass or Aspen, or in between.

This place has a great location right where the Bonzai run meets the Village lift line and the ski in/out was very convenient. The room's kitchen was furnished with everything I needed to cook a basic meal. The only issue is that it is a bit loud, I could easily hear the people in the room next to me having a normal conversation so make sure to bring ear plugs.

Each unit at Laurelwood is individually owned and the one we had (410) ws beautifully decorated. We had a sitting area with fireplace and TV, a kitchen, bedroom with TV, bathroom, and separate sink and vanity. The queen-size bed and pillows were comfortable. There was lots of closet space and anything we could need was furnished. Each unit had a balcony with chairs and a gas grill, and we had a beautiful view of the mountains covered in yellow aspens, and could see one of the ski lifts going up the mountain. The property was nestled among the trees and I enjoyed walking the grounds to collect leaves for my granddaughters. We made use of the hot tub and it had an especially wonderful series of jets. Parking was free and Snowmass Village was very close. We could have walked there and back if we had younger knees! Check-in and check-out were easily accomplished. The studio looked spotless and there was a sign on the door showing when it had been cleaned.

The location is great and the studio was well appointed. We had a group staying at various studios. When 8 of them tried to enjoy the hot tub at 4:30 pm, they had other guests staring at them from their rooms. Shortly after that, someone from management showed up to tell them that they received multiple noise complaints and people are watching us. Really...? It’s a condo complex not a monastery. They were using the hot tub in the afternoon-not at night. I’d avoid this place if you have anymore than two people as any more than that is apparently too noisy.

Had high hopes for this place. The room size is nice for two couples but depending on what room you get the interior space can be pretty awful. We paid for a premier but 411 is anything but premier. Furniture is not comfortable and quite ugly. It has the feel of IKEA on a budget. The only saving grace of this room is that it is on the upper floor and has vaulted ceilings so it’s bright. We were also not all that pleased with the level of service as we informed them that our microwave light was out after the first night and 5 days later it still hasn’t been fixed. There are lots of other options in this area and I would try those before coming back here!

We've stayed here 8 times already - all in the winter. The studios are well equipped with full kitchen, two beds ( a queen size and a convertible sofa), good storage, balcony with propane grill. Property has a full time office, friendly and helpful staff. Well maintained grounds, two hot tubs. Does not have a pool, and rooms do not have AC (I heard it gets hot in the summer). We enjoyed our stay here every time and we think it's the best value accommodation in Snowmass in the winter.

We have stayed at the Laurelwood property many times over the years. Snowmass is a great and much more economical alternative to staying right in Aspen. The studios have plenty of room to stretch out, settle in and enjoy your stay, the hot tubs are welcoming, the front desk staff are way over the top friendly and accommodating and the scenery is spectacular.

The room we ckoose was about 600 square feet. The bedroom was sectioned off by a folding door, but allowed light and noise to get through. It still worked. Everything else was very nice and workable. Parents with 1 or 2 children can survive this room. Enjoy it. I would book it again.

This was the perfect combination of amenities and price. We knew it wasn’t going to be the Ritz, but it had everything we needed and a location hard to beat. Was wonderful to be able to ski right in for lunch. Bus stop made it easy to get to village and staff was always willing to answer questions. The only negative was how hot the room was inside. You were discouraged to open doors or windows due to pipes freezing but overall it was incredibly clean and comfortable. Will be our first choice when we return.

Hi there. There are childcare services available in the area and they are all searchable on Google. We don't have a specific company to recommend at this time.
I don't think there are any cheaper beginner lifts at Snowmass (I've actually never heard of this anywhere). Snowmass has lovely beginner terrain, an excellent area for novice skiers. Buttermilk has great beginner terrain too, just a short drive or bus ride from Laurelwood.
There are more places to choose from in the Snowmass Village area.
