We were traveling for a work immersion trip in March, 2022. Staying at the Viceroy Snowmass was such a gift! We met António M. when we arrived. He is front desk extraordinaire - so friendly and goes out of his way to make your stay extra special! I loved talking with him about the amazing places he has been! This hotel Front Desk staff is the best I've ever met, the hotel staff is lovely, the Cafe V staff are awesome, the rooms are beautiful and so comfortable and the entire property is lovely. The location for skiing is fantastic. I cannot recommend this property enough!
I had a wonderful lunch looking over Snowmass mountain! The turkey avocado club was delicious and the service was spectacular. Very kind and attentive staff. This was a quick and beautiful spot to warm up and fill up!
We had a great stay, very convenient. Two excellent staff members Gede and Eric who showed such great kindness and service to me and my children. They alone will make us come back. Ski valet was awesome, the guys there excellent. The room was good but dark, would have preferred a lighter room. We stayed as a family of four, would come again.
Snowmass is my favorite of the Aspen mountains, and Viceroy is my favorite place to stay in Snowmass. Great service and amenities. The spa is excellent and the location is great. Ski in/ski out, and you can walk to the grocery store if you want to stock up on snacks or cook. Plus the Viceroy is very dog friendly!
I stayed at the Viceroy in February and enjoyed every minute of my stay! The food at the restaurant - Toro - was delicious both breakfast and dinner. Great Cocktails! The service was top notch, and they make you feel like a VIP. I can't say enough about the awesome massage I had at the spa - they take the time to ask you questions so that you get the massage you're looking for. Luke Daley treats everyone who walks through the front door with huge doses of Southern charm and really bends over backwards to make your day the best it can possibly be! We'll be back for sure!!
Our lunch at the best was exceptional. The service was very attentive and our salads were fresh and delicious. Guido our server was friendly and helpful. Salute to the Nest and the valet team for great service right to the end of ski season!
Irina was so lovely! My husband and I wanted to grab a quick breakfast before heading out for a ski day, and she was so sweet and attentive. The views were incredible, and the breakfast filled us up for the long day ahead, couldn’t have been happier!
We had a great stay at the Viceroy, the accommodations were really good and clean. I really like that there is a kitchenette in each unit. Everybody with whom we came in contact was professional and helpful as well as friendly. We ate dinner in the restaurant Toro and it was very good with a Latin influence. We ate breakfast every morning with a wonderful selection of breakfast foods. Two mornings in a row we had a very professional server name Irina. She was very attentive and a top-notch server! All in all, a great experience and I would highly recommend this hotel!
After 14 hours of exhausting travel and despite arriving after the stated check in time of 4pm, we were told upon arrival that our room would not be ready for another 2 hours. When we complained to the ‘20 something’ assistant manager, Sharon, about this, she was unsympathetic and brushed it off stating that the previous guest extended their stay until 4pm and that housekeeping had not had a chance to clean the room. I asked her to prorate that days room charge since we were not granted a full days use of the room. After a much-heated argument and an initial offer of bar food and drinks, she said the best she could do is $150 off of the room rate—at $3000/night that doesn’t even equal the tax on the room! The general manager, Robert Purdy, left his card in our room, so I naively emailed him about this thinking he would reply—he did not. Finally, at the time of check out, one of the other managers, after hearing our ordeal, graciously offered to prorate the first night’s room charge by $500 which we were agreeable to. All in all, though we received some compensation for the late check in, the inconsistency within the management staff is an area which needs improvement. As for the rooms, as others have mentioned, they are average with bland office-like décors and lack any kind of charm or ambience. Worse, many of them face the front of the hotel where service vehicles and guests check in so its noisy all day long and into the night. There is a real echo effect there so you hear the clickity clack of rolling luggage and the conversations of the workmen and guests very easily. We also did not see any service elevators so with just two elevators, we were frequently accompanied by house keeping with their buckets and wet mops or bellman with full luggage carts. Another area which needs attention is the outdoor hot tub facility. It is too small for the number of guests at the hotel and is not kept clean by housekeeping so plastic cups frequently blow into the hot tub and litter accumulates around the perimeter. I don’t ever remember seeing a pool attendant clean that area up during the 1 week we were there. On the plus side, the location is excellent with easy ski in/ski out and the ski valets, parking valets and housekeeping do a very good job. At $3000/night, however, they need to do much much more. I will not be returning.…
Came here with my fiance to checkout Aspen. First let me say that if you like skiing snowmass is great. It was my first time coming here so I wasn't sure what to expect I especially liked how snowmass was kind of a quiet town at night and Aspen was where to go if you wanted a wild night out. The Viceroy itself was okay the rooms were clean. I think the staff made the hotel better I really liked Nick the valet.
