We booked the room since the online description said there was air conditioning as I have a condition where I can’t sleep without air conditioning cooling the room down-upon arrival, 2 different staff members including the front services manager Ryan confirmed there was no a/c, but an air pump or air handler. Couldn’t sleep for both nights of our stay. Plus both nights we wanted to enjoy the outdoor pool/hot tub that were supposed to be open until 11:00p but both nights the lights weren’t working and we couldn’t even see where we were walking—such a hazardous area to be around-kids in and elderly could easily trip and get injured. Lastly, the metal rail getting into the pool was not anchored and posed another danger -not top-notch. Very disappointed for what we paid. The managers only compensated/credited the resort fees (Megan) and essentially the parking fees totaling a $200 credit but didn’t compensate at all for the room charges. Didn’t feel like we got what we paid for or received what was advertised. Very disappointed.…
We booked through American Express fine hotel program. We were upgraded on check in to a two bedroom residence. Everything is impeccable! The kitchen has top of the line appliances, very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and have amazing linens. I loved the attention to detail. The spa is outstanding! Very good massage and facility. Aaron is gracious and kind, what an amazing valet. He’s always ready to help at a moment’s notice. In room dining is good, food is not great but overall good.
In rating the Viceroy at Snowmass, I think of a great bottle of wine like a 1964 Chateau La Tour. The Viceroy is everything I expected and more! My positive travel experience began with a timely and friendly pick up at the Aspen airport and accommodations in an exceptionally well appointed guest suite and continued on with enjoyable meals on site at the Super Toro restaurant for breakfast and dinner and lunch was also on site. Lunch was so enjoyable to be away from the normal loud and crowded mountain cafeteria. The service in the ski boot room, ski valet, and car valet were all exceptional. The resort is a TRUE SKI IN AND SKI OUT EXPERIENCE with super staff and amenities including an excellent Spa and Fitness Center.
Loved the our stay at the Viceroy Snowmass. Rooms were perfect and had washer dry perfect for families. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The hotel has everything form fantastic view to. Convince to luxury accommodations.
Booked this hotel thru AMEX FHR. We were upgraded to a beautiful room that was very spacious filled with all the amenities you could need. If anything was lacking, you can make a call to housekeeping that brings your comb/shampooo/ towel very QUICKLY> The service at this hotel is impeccable. I really appreciated how well heated the pools were and how beautiful the hot tubs were kept. There was never any dirt or leaves in the pool. It is also interesting to note, that when ordering food or drinks at the pool, they just charge the room, don't make you get out of the pool and sign some receipt. Its really 5 star service. The restaurants are all delicious and the location is beautiful. We will be returning.
