We had a GREAT time at the Limelight Snowmass. We stayed for 6 nights on a road trip with our young children. It was so beautiful, so convenient, and so friendly!

8 years ago we'd stayed at the Limelight Aspen which was really nice too, bit this stay was even better!

Highlights in no particular order
-staff are sooo friendly and accommodating. Pretty much anything we asked for, the response was “of course!!”
-the concierge, Tim, was so patient and spend so much time helping orient us and got us a great deal on downhill biking lessons for my husband!
- the location is so convenient. You walk out of the lobby and you’re in this beautiful plaza, steps from the gondola, the SkyCab (skittles), a bunch of restaurants, a lawn with cornhole and soccer goals, a playground, and a play space. Plus super yummy ice cream!
- the room was very beautiful and stylish. One really unique feature was how much storage space there was!! I’m always struggling to find space for things in these boutique hotels, but there was so much shelf space, drawers, under the bed drawers, everything brought could be put away neatly.
- breakfast is included! A wonderful buffet with tons of options!
- there is a super tall rock wall that is complementary for hotel guests. My kids spent 30 minutes there every day and made it to the top!
- they give you an Audi to drive when you need it! For free!
- The restaurant is really yummy for dinner too, and not insanely priced by Aspen standards.
- parking is very convenient.

We definitely want to return in the winter to go skiing!

Our visit started off with the wonderful Cristina at reception. We weren't sure which room would be best for us, and she explained the features in the different rooms and helped to get us a great room for our long stay. She was also very patient with us during the process. She is exceptional.
We stayed in a luxury king room with a fireplace and a large balcony facing the gondola. I didn't think we'd use the fireplace in the summer, but we did and it was very cozy. The rooms are new and very well appointed. I liked having silverware and dishes in the room, especially during COVID as we ate in the room frequently. I also love that they have a dining table in the place of a traditional desk because it made eating in the room very comfortable. The bathroom is large and the shower water pressure was great.
The breakfast is very convenient, but not quite as good as the breakfast in the Aspen location. The Aspen location has more hot food options and scrambled eggs every day which I think appeals to more people. Still very good though. I also liked the food in the restaurant for dinner - especially the brussels sprouts. The happy hour is also great value.
The service throughout the hotel is great - very friendly and accommodating. We travel with our dog and I loved that the hotel is dog friendly and the staff was very affectionate to our pup. The area around the hotel is pristine. The shuttle to and from the airport is great. Taxis between Aspen and Snowmass are very expensive, so it was nice to have complimentary transportation.
My favorite amenity in the hotel is the laundry room! We were able to stay in the hotel for almost two weeks because we had the option of doing laundry. It was superb. The machines were super clean and convenient.

Highly recommended! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for the memorable stay!

For starters I do not normally write reviews. Found Limelight through searching throughout the Aspen/Snowmass area and found it's amenities would be great with kids. From the moment we were greeted by the shuttle driver at the Aspen airport the customer service was superb. Our driver gave tips on things to do as well as what to expect and treat altitude sickness ( drink lots of water). Upon check in, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful with any and all information regarding our entire stay. Our room was spacious and the balcony overlooking the ice rink was breath taking. Each room offers a good size table that was beneficial since indoor dining was closed during our stay. Tv has casting abilities making it great for kids to watch what they wanted while we had some downtime. The staff was nice enough to bring us to the grocery store to stock up on some items to keep in our room. Housekeeping goes above and beyond even washed some dishes I left in the sink one day. It has been an amazing experience. Highly recommend. I can't wait to come back next year!

I stayed at the Limelight with my husband and my 3 year old son from march 11t
To march 15.
The lack of good service was evident from the beginning.
Upon our arrival to the hotel, the shuttle service was not waiting for us inside the arrival area.
We had to carry all our luggage our self looking for him all the way to the parking lot.

The services in the bar/lounge/restaurant is really bad.
The service is slow.
The menu is not good at all.
The brake-fast is average.

The hotel facilities are average, they don’t have SPA, don’t have ski valet, only a storage that no one helps you in. You have to help your self.

But what is really bad is the house keeping service.
From all of the four days that we stayed there they never service our room on time,
Every single day we had to call several time’s requesting our room to be cleaned.

And when they finally did it it was very badly done.
They left dirty glasses from room service on the night table.

Dirty towels over the chairs. But what is unacceptable is that on our first night we found a pin over the carpet. Can you imagine the risk for our toddler!!!
And in the hallway the glass of the picture was left there for two days.

I’m really very disappointed with this experience.
The only good thing is the location, and the size of the room.

My husband and I planned a trip to Colorado for our 25th anniversary and we chose to stay in Snowmass for two nights because of its proximity to Aspen and hotel rooms were much less expensive . The hotel was trendy and clean (but not too modern for us empty nesters). Staff members were extremely helpful and there was a goodie bag in our room with treats in it when we arrived and we also received a delivery of chocolates and strawberries for our 25th anniversary. We felt welcomed and valued as customers. The included breakfast was plentiful and appeared to satisfy most dietary requirements. The menu varied a bit each day. We enjoyed the live music on Sunday night and saw many families/groups of travelers enjoying the living room area and outdoor lounge area. We also appreciated the availability of the laundry facilities. I highly recommend this property.

We were apprehensive to take a trip during Covid, but after seeing that the hotel was clean and had precautions in place we rolled the dice. We were glad that we did too! A great stay, everyone was polite, the food was great and hotel very clean. The hotel was following all of the necessary protocols for social distancing and there was hand sanitizer strategically placed everywhere. The room was awesome and very clean. Nice decor, great balcony. The staff was delighted to be back working and it showed in their service. Wear your mask and travel 1 group in the elevator at a time and there is no problem.

We just spent a week in Snowmass at the Limelight and this was a fantastic hotel. The service was impeccable; the room was beautiful, clean and big and the hotel staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The hotel loaned my husband and son an EV car so they could replace a lost phone (after a ski wipe out) in Basalt CO. When I had to take a day off from skiing the concierge kindly loaned me snowshoes for a little excursion and he drove me to a hiking trail. The hotel has a great vibe; the lobby has great food and apres ski artisan pizzas, drinks, etc. The breakfast is included and it was an incredible spread every morning. It really was just a lovely stay with a staff that always made you feel at home; made us dinner reservations whenever we asked and answered any question. I would stay at any Limelight property after this. Also, they allow dogs, which really added character to the whole stay and made it seem homey. They also arranged our ski equipment so that was seamless when we arrived; it's ski in and ski out so you can store your equipment in the hotel. We just loved the Limelight and would definitely return!

Snowmass is a wonderful relaxing place to get away to the mountains. We chose the Limelight at Snowmass to stay for a visit with our daughter because it offers all the amenities to make this experience amazing. Just what we needed! The location of the Limelight right on Town Square with a large area for playing and relaxing complete with comfortable seating and firepits. The Limelight's patio is the best! Great food and service. Nice happy hour also! The rooms are clean and beautiful! They are well decorated with unique, comfortable seating and tables and the beds are so very comfy! The front desk was friendly and inviting and always able to offer assistance. The two outside hot pools are big enough to not feel crowded and easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful mountains!

The Limelight Hotel Snowmass is THE place to stay! It has everything that you can think of and more. From the moment we checked in, I was very impressed. The people at the front desk are super helpful and accommodating. Our room was so nice with modern amenities (double sinks, super nice shower, barn door to the bathroom, etc). I love the fact that they gave us glass bottles filled with water in the fridge every day that we could actually drink FOR FREE. The bed was super comfortable. We have a baby, so they provided a nice crib for him. We were on the first floor, which was so nice with a baby! Very accessible, and not too close, but close enough to the lobby. The free breakfast each morning was delicious! They had everything you could think of. I could go on and on about this hotel. It exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be back!

I loved the Limelight. I was new, fresh, clean, and most of all ticked the boxes when it came to useability of both the indoor and outdoor spaces of the hotel. The pool and hot tub are right sized and in the heat of the central area. Also the indoor/outdoor seating with firepits was absolutely awesome both day and night!

Breakfast was simple and easy in the morning, and the staff was very helpful and safe in all interactions with guests. I'm a little sad i didnt get to try a wood fired pizza since we already had dinner somewhere else...

We only had a one night pass thru stay but everyone was begging for more. I would definately consider returning in the summer as it is only 15 mins away from Aspen but am now eager to check it out over ski season next time.
