I believe Alma House hasn't been reviewed since the new owners took over late last year. From what I am reading here, they've been BUSY upgrading/improving many things, because NONE of the former complaints were evident on my visit this month. Believe me I've stayed in The Raffles, and a medieval castle, resorts, other B&B's--so I think I've got relatively... More

Stayed here one night. Old place, not well-maintained. No hairdryer in the room or bathroom. Breakfast was supposed to be served from 7 to 9, we left by 7:45 and still no breakfast or coffee. Not impressed at $120 per night. Would not recommend this hotel.

Expected old but not dirty. No one available at check in so found our room with the key in the door. We had one of the last rooms available so knew we were sharing a bathroom which was filthy, mold on shower curtain and grease ring around tub. Bed was lumpy sagging in middle and all pillows and carpet was... More

We've been staying at the Alma House for decades and always have been happy. Beautiful Victorian-era furniture and decor with high-speed wi-fi access. Very nice innkeepers who made us wonderful breakfast every day. The hotel is a bit haunted but we've never felt frightened, not even our children. It's centrally located in town so you can easily walk everywhere.

My family and I have, for many years now, stayed at this B&B during our stays in Silverton. We've experienced a variety of managers and service levels over the years here. During our most recent visit, we were pleased to get to know the new managers, Debra and Mike - both served as excellent hosts during our stay. They made... More

We were late arrivers in the middle of the night and the manager helped us and even tho the late hour we were allowed to use the Jacuzzi out back. The bed was nice, with a great view out the east window.

Easy to find, easy parking, great staff, easy check-in. There is a great ground level, (3 steps) room with tub / shower and toilet. Our room was up one flight with a shared bath. Very nice for the price. Our window had a great view of the mountains, I think all of the rooms must have a good view. The... More

We enjoyed staying here. It was a nice bed and breakfast. There were a few things that could have been better but the bed was comfy and the breakfast was good. The managers were very friendly. Enjoyed talking with them.

The Inn of the Rockies is a couple of blocks off Greene Street which is the main drag of town, and about three blocks south of where the train drops hordes of tourists on the town. That said it is somewhat centrally located, but tucked away from the noise of the crowds, but still conveniently located to restaurants, shops, and... More

Cute 1890s hotel, love the features and character. Authentic bathroom, very cool although I would not want to stay longer than a day. Squeaky floors, so I was up a lot of the night hearing sounds. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was pretty nice and filling, great coffee. Cheap available spot for the night for my husband and I.
