This motel is Great! loved the old art deco style and painted murals in the room. It was clean and comfortable with a wonderful location right by the beach within walking distance to Publix and some restaurants. It was also just a short drive over the bridge to old St. Augustine. We had good conversations with Zoe at the front...

I have lived in St Augustine for 12 years and we have stayed here at least 5 other times over the last 8 or so years. Sometimes with children, sometimes with pets, sometimes with both. A few weeks ago, after packing up my StA home of 12 years to move up north, my husband checked for availability online for the...

Last minute decision to get out of town for Christmas led me to find this little gem! For last minute, and holiday weekend, very great price! Loved the location, far enough away from the crowds, but close enough for a nice walk over the bridge to downtown!! (If you like walking) The staff were all really welcoming!! They have a...

My son and I stayed here on a Saturday night. It was quiet and close to down town. Also there are a number of Ingress portals that you can hit from the rooms. A+. The beach ad a large Publix are within walking distance. They were very accommodating of my son's service animal.

This was my second time staying in this hotel. Two years ago, it was amazing. This time not so much. I had to switch rooms which required an hour wait. The first room was terrible, new room was much better. Musty smell but clean. Went for dinner and cocktails and returned to room around 1am and key card wouldnt work....

Was nice being next to the beach. Accomodation was as expected for the price. There was a mildew smell in our room but the room seemed clean. Breakfast was basic but a nice touch. The beach was lovely and not crowded so that was great.

Thank you for your review. It is our goal to maintain the rooms as clean and comfortable as possible. Being in such close proximity to the beach the humidity is sometimes noted. Vilano Beach is beautiful and it is always a pleasure to hear that it was enjoyed by our guests.

This motel is situated in a great location, it's very close to Vilano beach, a Publix supermarket, a great restaurant and is just a half hour brisk walk away from the oldest city in the USA. I got the impression that it was under new ownership as the hosts were perhaps rather over attentive. The room was clean and tidy...

I appreciate the good things you said about our motel. Hurricane Matthew took a toll on Magic Beach and the clean up has been quite an on-going process. Fortunately, hurricanes are not common to St Augustine and perhaps you will reconsider staying with us on your next visit.

Rooms are very clean. If you like retro, this is your place. Steps away from the beach, can't beat the price. I will definitely be back! Room was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was huge. Store and a couple of restaurants also in walking distance.

I had reserved a 3rd flr ocean view balcony at Oceanview Lodge. Hurricane Mathew struck. I should have cancelled my reservation. But I listened to the woman who answered when I called to find out that indeed they were still closed two weeks later. They did not call me. She said she could move my reservation to the Magic Beach...

Ms Rzeszow, Vilano Beach was badly damaged by Hurricane Matthew. We tried our best to honor our reservations. Magic Beach does have ocean view rooms but not like those at the Ocean View. I apologize for any misunderstanding and will advise my staff to be more descriptive should a similar situation occur.

We were supposed to stay at the Hampton Inn across the street. But due to hurricane Matthew closing the Hampton we decided to stay here instead. With the neon signs and bunnies jumping out of the hat I would have to admit I was a little nervous. We were supposed to have a room with one queen bed and one...
