Their room looked exactly how it did in the online photos, and their view (though just a ‘pool’ view, had a view of a little lake behind it and it was gorgeous!) The two of them had a blast and talk about it often, and of course they fell in love with the beach and Saint Augustine! It's a quant hotel that is near some great seafood restaurants, the beach, and historic St Augustine is a 10-15 drive. What I really like about the hotel is the friendly staff and the location on the beach; the hotel is located at a spot on the beach that is a little less crowded than the beach further south (in the heart of Vilano Beach). Also, the cleaning staff was very busy to keep the hotel clean and I felt safe there during this pandemic.Hello Troy, It is very much satisfying to see your positive comments about your stay. - Patty P74 contributionsGreat beach hideaway!We enjoyed our 3 nights at this small hotel, directly across the street from beautiful Vilano Beach. This hotel had everything we needed. We were in a first floor room facing the pool, with convenient parking right outside our back door. The free daily breakfast was great! The breakfast room was small and at first glance, didn't look like it would have much to offer, but the small fridge was stocked with yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cream cheese, fruit and other items. There were bagels, muffins, pre-wrapped pancakes, fresh tangerines, a juice machine, hot chocolate, and of course, coffee. I was impressed with the healthy choices of syrup, such as the Agave sweetener. Our room had a small fridge, microwave and a small Keurig coffee machine. The king size bed was very comfortable, the place was spotless. The beach was super close, but crossing the street was a challenge, since the cars are traveling at a high speed. There is a basket near the street with orange flags, which was very helpful. Before crossing, grab one of the flags, then when you get across the street, there is another bucket to return the flag.Dear Guest, Thankful for your time and efforts to post this review. I come here once a year in September for a relaxing getaway. It's across the road from a very quiet beach and near some great seafood restaurants. The staff and management are all great people. Each room has a balcony and the pool looks out on to the bay which is a great place to watch the sunset in the evening.

The most comfortable mattress! We slept so good. Great location close to amazing restaurants. Alisha who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. We rented chairs and an umbrella from the hotel, they are brand new and were such a lifesaver. Will definitely stay again.

Right across from the beach. Listening too the sounds of the while falling asleep wall very enjoyable. Then to top it all off being able to watch the sunrise from our room was simply amazing. Short distance to downtown. Will visit again.

My son and I was in Saint Augustine,Fla. for a funeral we were greeted and check in by Alisha she was very friendly and polite, we told her we were there for a funeral, she gave her condolences and told us if we needed anything let her know. Check out done be DJ he was also friendly and professional. I thought I had left my ear buds in the room so I called, he kindly went and checked the room, however we turn around because we were only five minutes away when I realized that I didn’t have them. We came back to the room he let us look, however they weren’t there so I check my bag before leaving found them I then went back inside to let him know I found them and I thanked him for a job well done, if I’m in Saint Augustine I will definitely stay there again, keep up the good work, my son and I went to dinner one of the nights we were there, the staff was making chocolate chip cookies, had the lobby smelling terrific …

Attention to detail was excellent. Friendly, welcoming staff. Very clean, and everything provided. Excellent communication throughout with email reminders about checkout times, breakfast times, and even free popcorn and fresh baked cookies every evening in the lobby. DJ the proprietor was keenly interested in knowing if we needed anything, and even asked for suggestions on how they could improve. Alisha was perfect at check-in, and the room was great… Big screen TV, and recently remodeled room. Highly recommend this property with open beach just a few steps across the road. Very, very nice experience!!

Stayed here one night after someone recommended it. The online the rate was $100. Their web page kept saying it was better to call and make a reservation. So I did. It ended being $277. We got a text saying we could check in early for $50. We chose to but we were actually charged $59. The total before early check in was $218. (More than double the online price) The front desk told us the rooms had been renovated. I don't know how they passed their inspections. The fire sprinkler head was about a 1/2 inch from the track for the barn door that was used for a bathroom door. There was no privacy in the bathroom because you could see in on either side of the door. The shower was dirty. The water smelled horrible! The furniture had mold or dirt on it. POSITIVE'S The mattresses were GREAT I have to say. We were told they were new. The beach was amazing!! It's their own private beach so it's not crowded.…

Dear Guest, Our rates do fluctuate based on occupancy, as do all hotel rates in this World. The rate you were probably looking at was for a 1st floor room. Our Ocean View rooms with private balconies obviously would cost more. Additionally, if your original search was done without any dates entered, most websites will display the lowest rate within the next 90 days. The early check in fee is $50 for 11AM-1PM check in, and $35 for 1PM-2:30PM early check in. We do always offer complimentary early check in for all guests at 2:30PM. We are always very transparent with our business. We have passed all County, State, and Federal inspections with flying colors. In fact, we were inspected last week by AAA and received a 100% score. We were awarded Best Hotel on Vilano Beach multiple times. Ps. If you brought up any of the issues that you mentioned in your review during your stay we would have accommodated your needs or referred you to the nearest Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons Hotel. Although, we are not the Ritz Carleton, we do take pride in our small 29 room Inn, and hope you have happier travels. Based on the other Seedy places you have stayed at and reviewed, we truly believe that you should stick to the above mentioned Zagat Rated hotels. Yes-Our beds also passed inspection, just like they helped you sleep better during your trip to beautiful Saint Augustine, Florida. Please contact our Management office by calling 904-824-1112 and pressing option 1 or 2 during the hours of 8AM-8PM so we can compensate your for the letdowns during your stay. Our daily breakfast offering have recently been upgraded to include Boiled Eggs, Make your own Fresh Waffles, assorted Yogurt, Assorted Bagels, Assorted toast including Raisin Breads, English Muffins, Assorted Muffins, Peaches in a cup, Southern Style Grits, Assorted cereals including the ever popular Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Oatmeal, Chopped walnuts, Sliced Almonds, Marshmallows, Chocolate Chips, Shredded Coconuts, Raisins, Whipped Cream, Assorted Fruit Cups, 2% Milk, Premium Coffees including Decaf, and even Sugar Free Syrup for all the diabetics that come to enjoy our fabulous hotel. Once again: Be sure to book our complimentary parking package which can be found by searching around a few extra minutes or by calling us.
