Overnight stop. Wonderful! Lorraine waiting for us and even Helped us fill camper with water! Rooms are clean and updated. Love that a 2 -bedroom room has beds divided in to two different areas. Mini fridge and microwave too! Had breakfast at 4th street diner a few blocks away-yum! Will stay again!

It was kind of a late night during check-in. This motel features the free WiFi, which is amazing for an off-highway motel. As I entered the room, we have 2 queen beds in 2 separated rooms. The outside looks very 50-60's, but the room was remodeled really well. The thing that really surprises me was the TV, they were BRAND...

Very clean and comfortable beds, very reasonable price. Bring your own coffee maker and hair dryer. Owner is very friendly, she is also a beautician and very reasonable rates. Very small town that just needs some recognition. Salina and Gunnisons motels all booked up very thankful we found Big Valley Motel. Don't drive too fast you will miss it. Eating...

Drove in from Gunnison after dark (many curves and long road - an elk crossed our path!) we arrived late and the owner waited up for us! Very clean bedding and bath, simple rooms and WiFi. No breakfast though... but there are two eateries close by.

No regrets. A very clean, very affordable, very simple "blast-from-the-past." Right off the highway, this vintage roadside motel has small rooms which are surprisingly well-maintained, despite being old. Bathroom was spotless. Bed was more than adequate - I slept 8 hours instead of my usual 6. But no-frills: no in-room coffee, no ice machine, no AC, no real sitting area...

Clean, homey, great price, two bedrooms, wifi was good and the owner was very helpful as was most of the people we met in this town. It was so old school that the key was one that you could mail back. Great place to stay for a stopover.

The Big Valley is your basic mom and pop and is extremely reasonably priced. I was in a room close to the highway but traffic died early in the evening so there was no problem sleeping. I had thought I might arrive very late and the owner had made arrangements to see that I could get into my room -...

This motel is like those of my childhood. Basic comfort and spotlessly clean. A couple of notes though: no coffee in rooms, and no decernible wi-fi, despite a sign. The owner was very accommodating via phone and left keys for our late arrival. Also, when you ask for two beds you actually get two bedrooms!

This hotel was perfect for our needs. Clean, comfortable, with very reasonable rates. Our two-bed room actually had two separate rooms with a bed in each. It offered nice privacy. There was a good restaurant within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel.

Not much to look at from the outside, but the room was just what we were looking for. Comfortable beds and a quiet night. The TV was old, but they still had cable. The room did not have an AC but who needs one in Colorado.
