This place is a dream come true. The drive back to Coulter Lake Guest Ranch is stunning. You'll see a bunch of people camping and rock-climbing on world-class climbing walls. Keep going a bit more and it opens up into the majestic oasis that's one of the oldest guest ranches in Colorado. My husband booked two nights here in late...

We had 30 people stay for at least 2, some of us 3 nights, for a wedding August 21. Everyone had a great time. The ceremony was at Rifle Falls state park and the reception was at the ranch. It was a beautiul weekend and the staff at the ranch bent over backwards to make sure everyone was happy in...

You will never be sorry that you visited Coulter Lake Ranch. This was our third visit. We have gotten together with a group of friends from way-back- when when we worked on a dude ranch. We certainly know what we're looking for in the ranch experience. Coulter Lake bend over backwards to please us. We had amazing food and ate...

Never a surprise...except the meals! This young chef is attending culinary school. He isn't just a cook...he is a skilled chef. And the manager, Tim, insures that everybody ,young and old, has the time of their life. Chillin' @ Coulter = A+. Oh, I caught 14+ fish in a single day...Joe's Hopper dry fly!

This place was truly a dream come true for our family. The setting is nothing short of stunning. Once you are there, it is well worth the drive to be away from everything but the beautiful trees, lake full of fish, and horseback rides where you never see another soul. Cody and Joe were amazing on our rides, and the...

I started my 2016 year off in the right direction by taking my good friends to this beautiful spot high up at 9100 feet. First experience with Tim and the gang and we hope for #2 one day soon. Cozy cabins, great trails, smores around the camp fire and great western cooking. To Tim, Pam,Cody and Brenna - thanks for...

This was our second trip to Coulter Lake Guest Ranch (last was 2 years ago), and both were incredible. The setting is gorgeous and the owners and staff welcomed us back like family. We went with 2 other families, 7 kids total ranging from 3yo to 17yo, and all were happy. Our dog was possibly the happiest of the bunch...

Went to Coulter Ranch for 5 days/4 nights - a mini family reunion for my husband and I and our adult children from across the country. It was an absolutely perfect vacation from beginning to end. The location of the ranch was remote and so beautiful. Accommodations were rustic, clean and comfortable. The food was amazing and Rebecca (the cook)...

We like to try off the grid places in Colorado that have access to amazing snowmobiling, and of the many different places we've been, this is by far our new favorite. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The ranch is well maintained, easy to get to, and the food is very approachable and satisfying. We had 2 dinners and...
