The pictures look absolutely beautiful, but when we arrived it looked like an abandoned town under loads of construction. Not quite the view I was looking for. The staff was friendly and kind, very accommodating. The room was nice with cabin vibes, I do wish there was fridge though. Overall, it was a pleasant stay but it didn’t feel worth the price considering we could have paid the same price to stay in Vail or Glenwood Springs and with a better view and places to eat.
It's obvious that someone has invested a lot into making this a beautiful, comfortable place to stay. We stayed in one of the king suites - the room was very clean; bed, sheets, and pillows were comfortable, loved all the wood trim, and bathroom was very nice; especially the shower fixtures. The front desk people were so friendly and helpful and it was great to have a small liquor store and food items just downstairs. Loved that the heating unit AND the fridge in the room were so quiet. There is a nice little table and chairs in the room, but we missed having an upholstered chair and ottoman where one could stretch out. Nice little table and chairs just outside the room for an afternoon view of the town. Red Cliff is very close to Minturn and Vail, so if the only restaurant in town in closed, you have a lot of options nearby. Very close to the historic Camp Hale training site. Do a little research on the place ahead of time and it will greatly enhance your visit as most of the Forest Service posted signs are mostly unreadable. Highly recommend this nice little town and the Inn. Visit now while it's still a quiet, small town - looks like they may be ramping up for some development.…
Loved this quaint hotel. From its cabin like king suite with pine walls, upscale cabinetry, comfortable king bed and spacious bathroom with multiple shower heads. The only thing lacking was a comfortable chair to settle into with an evening cocktail. We will return
This is a very nice hotel in the mountains near Vail. Room was very comfortable and all in wood. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Location is near Vail but somewhat isolated, which was convenient for us. We recommend this hotel.
This place was absolutely amazing! It is one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever stayed. The staff are so kind and friendly - even patiently answering my questions about life in this small, remote town. There is no cell service, so you can enjoy quiet time here. The rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. There is a little store downstairs where you can buy any snacks or beverages, or even breakfast items. Coffee there is free for guests. I would love to go back!
