I rolled into Poncha Springs on a late January evening. Teresa greeted me with a smile and helped find the perfect room. It suited my solo trip perfectly. The next morning I walked the courtyard and made a trip across the parking area to the inclosed food truck dining area. I 100% recommend a breakfast burrito from the Hunger food... More

Visited Poncha Springs for area business. Loved the Poncha Lodge! Great vintage-lodge-style motel room (we had a deluxe Queen). Fabulous mountain views, and the courtyard and landscaping are extremely welcoming. Very friendly owners/operators. We WILL stay here again as we have more business in the area soon.

Poncha Springs lodge is amazing! Teresa the owner is very kind and attentive. She upgraded our room for free just because she said it was "off season". The rooms were clean, well decorated, and had all the amenities that we needed. The hot tub house was clean, large, and very relaxing after a day on the slopes. Highly recommended for... More

This lodge is a revamped retro '50's - '60's lodging. A very refreshing quiet place to get your head on straight. Theresa and "D" her other half own this lodge and offer one of the most relaxing and beautiful places I have ever stayed. They have a large patio garden in back of the lodging with grills, outdoor fire pit,... More

My husband and I were married in June and haven't had time for a honeymoon. We decided to take a weekend getaway to Salida and met the owner of Poncha Lodge while in town the first night. After speaking with Theresa and "D" we opted to move to their lodge. Best decision EVER! The place is so charming and quaint!... More

Although the rooms were the TINIEST rooms I have ever seen (maybe some in Amsterdam were as small) the place was clean. Teresa the owner did everything she could to help us have a relaxing evening. The setting was beautiful and the grounds were great.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Very Rustic and quaint. Stunning views and very quiet. Landscaping is beautiful. Minutes from Buena Vista. Teresa, the owner felt like talking to a friend. Went completely out of her way to make sure one of my items was safe before I even checked in!! Unbelievable friendly and saved my whole day.

Thank you for your review. One of my joys of owning Poncha Lodge is helping my guest enjoy their stay and helping with other arrangements such as dinner reservations or the best jeep rental and etc. More

Wow, we LOVED this motel! After researching motels for our 1700 motorcycle trip from Southeast Kansas, we booked this room for a night while we were making the loop up around Monarch Pass. The owner Teresa was so genuine and nice, made us feel right at home. The room is so clean and welcoming. The room was more than big... More

I picked this place based solely on TripAdvisor reviews, and while I agree it's a neat place, the rooms are quite tiny. But they're clean and the bed was comfy, and for one night, that's all that really matters. The owner, Theresa, was so nice and concerned about my comfort and that I had everything I needed. Her partner runs... More
