Bungalows are basic, but clean and surprisingly functional. I had one of the most comfy beds ever! The aircon was effective and quiet. I had a big balcony overlooking the garden and (between the trees) the sea. The overall complex is very nice and quiet, lots of pine and eucalyptus trees, and right on the beautiful Livadakia beach. Walk to Livadi takes about 15 minutes. The staff was excellent and very helpful - starting from amazing Sana. They quickly reacted to my requests such as exchanging chairs on the balcony to another, comfier type. The downsides were - extremely loud and old mini fridge, this should be exchanged as it was leaking sometimes; and the fact that you only found out about pool being closed after you booked. And yes - typically small bathroom. Overall I am happy with my stay, I was reluctant to book as I knew accomodation will be simple, but the comfort of sleep, the staff and excellent location made my stay worth every penny.

We stayed in a bungalow for 4 in July 2020. Our trip was understandably affected by the Covid situation, more about that below. We were collected from the port, and taken back there at the end of our stay. This is very useful, as it is a 15 minute walk on uneven roads. Our room consisted of a kitchen/living area (where our two kids' beds were (two single sofa beds, but very very comfortable - actually more comfortable than the adult bed hahaha), a very small bathroom and an adult bedroom. The kitchen/lounge and bedroom each had good aircon. The bathroom is very small, and I found it easier to shower in the (very clean) camping shower block which was near to our bungalow, than in the very small shower cubicle in our bungalow. Outside was a small patio area, with a table and 4 chairs. We were about 25 metres from the fantastic Livadakia beach - long, sandy, safe, clean and with loungers provided by the property. The kitchen had a double sink, a double hob, a toaster, a kettle, a toastie maker, and a dolce gusto coffee machine - the property supplies the capsules for it. There was a TV, but we couldn't get a reception while we were there - all the channels as far as we could see were Greek, so it didn't matter. There was no safety deposit box when we arrived, though there should have been. One was delivered a few days later, but not actually fixed to the wall, so it was rather pointless. Our toilet was wobbly when we arrived - the whole pedestal wobbled, but this was soon mended. The wifi was very weak. We had an *amazing* room manager, Sana, who organised the cleaning, sorted out problems, etc. She is wonderful and very friendly and helpful. The restaurant closes early, but just along the beach is the restaurant of the Alexandros Resort, which is *excellent*, both grilled meats and fish, but also traditional Greek dishes. The stuffed vine leaves here are the best we have ever eaten. A really really good find and very convenient. Next door is a crepe and pancake place which serves excellent Greek orange cake. By the end of our stay, there were lots of young people camping in the complex. They were extremely well behaved and remarkably quiet haha. OK, the consequences of COVID: This is a large complex of bungalows and tent pitches, with lots of people, so we fully understand that the accommodation needed to be especially careful in these difficult times. Here is how it affected the stay: a) The pool was closed. This isn't announced on the main part of the website, only on the booking pages, so if you booked before COVID it would be very difficult to find out that it was closed. We understand why it was closed, but it is a pity it is not made clear on the main part of the website where the pool is described. The beach, though, is absolutely amazing - sandy, and no stones to enter the water - use the sea instead! b) It is the responsibility of the guests to inform the management about what they want with respect to room cleaning, and equipment in the kitchen. So when we arrived there were no cups, plates, etc. We asked for these, and they were brought, etc. But basically nobody will come into your room unless you give express instructions to the staff to do so. We liaised with Sana, and she then organised the cleaning, sheet and towel changes, coffee capsule deliveries (!) etc. c) There is a useful communication system that avoids people having to go to reception to ask for things. Instructions are on the back of the front door, but for us these instructions didn't totally work. Basically you need to download an app, and this app functions a little like Whatsapp. Using the wifi from your room (and not the general complex wifi), you can then contact room service via the app, to report things you need etc. It works well, but we found it best to download the app via Appstore, rather than the QR code on the back of the front door. But you must use your room wifi for the app to enable you to contact the staff. We were able to communicate with Sana this way when we needed to. Overall, this was a very good stay, despite a few teething problems at the start. We would certainly stay again, and we very much enjoyed the young but disciplined and well-behaved vibe of the campers mixing with the bungalow residents.

We had a room with a beach view which I would recommend as otherwise your room / terrace just looks onto other buildings. We had 1 double bed, 2 couch-beds, and we brought a travel cot for our smallest. We looked onto the campsite, which was very full but very quiet. There is a pool, which our kids loved, and the beach is perfect for small kids as gentle sloping and sand. There are trees which offer shade, but at busy times you need to go early to the beach to ensure you have a space in the shade. There is a restaurant, offering breakfast after 8am, and lunch after 1:30pm It closes at 7pm so either you eat in your room (kitchen adequate) or walk 15 minutes along the beach, up and over a hill, and down into the main port where there are lots of restaurants. (and the shops). The walk to town was the only inconvenience for us with small children. They weren't always motivated at the end of the day!! Otherwise clean, easy, nice place. Free pick up and drop off from the port.

Coralli Bungalows and camping has pretty basic rooms. Not really what the photos on website show. The bathroom was very small. To get to the toilet you needed to step into the shower, close the door and then you could access toilet. Rooms were clean and serviced daily although we did need to request new towels after 3 days. We had a 5 night stay. Athanasia on reception was really helpful and followed up on issues we had with the room. The lovely, sandy beach is only a few minutes walk down the path and there are lovely shade trees. Unfortunately all the free daybeds do not have much shade even with umbrellas and you were not allowed to move them into the shade of trees. Also found it annoying that guests would put their towels on beds ( one day a girl put out 10 towels reserving 10 beds) and not come down to the beach for another 2 hours. I believe they should monitor this! Also day visitors using the beds was not not monitored. Great that they offer free transfer to and from the ferry.

Where can I start: well, first of all i was reticent to book a bungalow attached to a campground with a pool, fearing a bit of a zoo and a lot of noise. Boy was i wrong. I exclaimed to an employee how i couldn't believe how quiet the campers and other occupants were, saying it wouldn't be so at a campground where i live. He explained that his boss didn't offer pool/bar services in the evening for that reason. everyone goes to the harbour for their festive evening and returns to a quiet campground. i witnessed this four nights in a row, after we returned from the port; I would sit in the gentle warm breeze of the evening (11ish) on my balcony and have several groups of people pass by over time respectfully quiet; at times you could hear a pin drop - and same in the morning too! we were in a quadplex but the bungalow room itself had no bleed through noise. And the good service started right from pick up in the port, (when the driver gave several really good tips to find your way by foot and places to eat) until we were dropped off - which is another good story. Happy with all the staff from the driver to the reception to the bar and restaurant and room maintenance. So, when we packed up to leave, my wife's credit card had somehow slipped out and onto the floor without us noticing it. We were delayed from the ferry we were going to catch and just in case, the manager sent his driver to look for us with the card the cleaning staff had found; we didn't even know it was missing at this stage. and after our trip, I came home to Canada to find that they had immediately placed a call to our home phone to let us know they had our card. Thank you so much for being so caring/responsible to one of a lot of guests. More than one employee expressed respect for the owner and how he cares for the island and maybe that is why they have such a good staff..and they seem to have fun despite the long work days. When you are first driving from the port, it seems like you are going a long way to Livadi - you aren't. pay attention to the driver and you will find it is just a ten minute or so walk with the shortcuts. Do go to the Chora - the buses are every half hour until late from the port and only 1.80 euro. Amazing view, as is the dramatic ferry landing at Serifos.
