We had a nice stay at RiverWalk Inn. The location was convenient as there were restaurants & stores within walking distance. The staff were pleasant & responsive. The breakfast was pretty good, especially since they had a waffle maker. It was nice to be able to sign up for your own private family time in the hot tub/spa & sauna. The shower water pressure wasn’t that great but I was able to adjust the pressure on the shower head & get my hair washed. The water was nice & hot! The beds were pretty comfortable. There was no gun safe in the room, for those of you this matters to. The coffee pot in the room was not very clean therefore I did not use it. I just drank the coffee in the lobby, provided with breakfast. I left a note in the coffee pot letting them know that the coffee pot needed cleaning & based on the cleanliness of the room & the hotel as a whole, I’m confident that coffee pot was taken care of. Lastly, when all the doors are locked to the hotel (front & back), your hotel key does not get you back in. Thankfully, the morning we were leaving, my husband was packing up the truck and locked himself out. Of course, I was able to let him back in but I think this might be helpful for solo travelers to know. We would definitely stay at RiverWalk Inn again!

The Riverwalk Inn is a mid-range hotel in Pagosa Springs Colorado that is well-maintained and located in a beautiful setting by the San Juan River. My wife and I stayed at the hotel to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The night clerk for our 3 nights provided exceptional service. She was patient, friendly, and bent over backwards to accommodate us during our stay. I do not recall her name but she was the owners daughter. (It is a family owned business.) The hotel is not an up-scale place with a lot of amenities, but was exactly what we were looking for. It was within easy walking distance of a number of restaurants. I cannot comment on the continental breakfast because we walked down to The Rose restaurant on all 3 mornings. We plan to stay at the Riverwalk Inn whenever we return to Pagosa Springs.

The Riverwalk Inn is a great place to stay! Super clean, it looks recently renovated and updated, and we LOVED the covered patio area out back right next to the river walk path. It’s close to downtown and within walking distance to the hot springs (about 10 minutes to walk, maybe 2 to drive, depending on traffic). There was also a vendor fair across the street and we went to that twice. We didn’t eat their complimentary breakfast, but we saw they had fruit, cereal, and waffle options. The sink & mirror are separate from the toilet/shower area, which is always a plus, but the counter is pretty small - just enough room for one person to get ready at a time. While we couldn’t smell any smoke in our room, they do offer smoking rooms and you could smell it in the halls, so just be aware of that. We would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and shops in Pagosa Springs. The young lady that checked me in was very professional and friendly. I requested a room on the top floor towards the back of the property and she accommodated my request. There is not an elevator but it is only two floors. I am in a double queen bed room and the beds are clean and comfortable. The room has a walk in shower and also is very clean. They provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. These are in a container that needs to remain in the room. No taking of the bathroom items! Air conditioner works great. Continental breakfast in the morning. In room coffeemaker is nice to have. The back area has several sitting areas near water, even covered. Will make a nice place in the evening for a glass of wine. Indoor hot tub and sauna. The hot tub is right off of the lobby indoors. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Located along the beautiful San Juan River, the inn offers stunning views and a serene atmosphere that's perfect for relaxation. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with everything you need for the perfect stay. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to downtown Pagosa Springs and the hot springs. The friendly staff made me feel right at home, and the peaceful riverside setting was the perfect backdrop for a rejuvenating getaway. Spotless, Quiet, Air-Conditioned, Safe & Convenient…we had a three-queen room with two separate bedrooms and one bathroom. AC was a window unit, but it worked well. Ample towels/nice toiletries (including lotion and bath gel). Floors are laminated wood (nice not to have carpet!) Breakfast area was small but included waffles and hard-boiled eggs.

We were in Pagosa Springs to ski at Wolf Creek and decided to book the Riverwalk Inn since it is close to the highway up to the ski area. We booked a renovated room (108) and were very happy with it. The room was large, clean and attractive. There is good lighting, a large TV with DirectTV and a well maintained bathroom. I can't speak to the unrenovated rooms, but the renovated ones were as nice or nicer than most chain hotel rooms.
Service was very friendly at check-in and check-out. The continental breakfast was good and contained a nice variety of breakfast foods (cereal, bagels, muffins, etc.).
I definitely recommend staying here on your next trip!

We spent two nights here on a road trip between Santa Fe and Grand Junction. The room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the breakfast provided each morning. The location was very convenient to walk to nearby restaurants, and the hot springs was about a five minute drive away. Would definitely return.

When you hear that the employees make all the difference, this is totally true here. We aren't talking about luxury accommodations, but it is clean and the people are WONDERFUL working there.
They have a nice hot tub and dry sauna that you can reserve for 4 people for 30 minutes at a time - really nice way to ensure you enjoy the experience and don't have kids doing cannonballs past you! The breakfast is a nice touch as well.

Thank you so much to the woman who was working on the night of Jan. 12 (I am kicking myself for not remembering her name) who got us a room at nearly midnight after an unsafe and disgusting experience we had at a hotel down the road left us scrambling to find another place to stay. She was so kind and helpful and really saved the trip for us.
This place is clean, cozy, and perfectly located. We had a lovely time and should have just booked here in the first place!

I don't know about that but it is a small place so they may allow them. A nice family bought this place last year and is trying to fix it up.
