Title says most of it. Cozy, a bit dated, decent (not fabulous but by no means bad) food, one warm host and one reserved one. Mostly quiet location and deck with good (not great views). That, said, we slept like babies both nights mmm.... They said they're selling in late September, so things could be quiet different soon... for better... More

We stayed here for a night and loved it - wished we had time to stay longer. The place has tons of charm and is very warm and comfortable inside. Rocky, the huge but very friendly and gentle dog, greeted us as we entered. We had our dog with us, and the two had fun running around in the yard.... More

We drove into the parking area for this B&B during an honest to goodness blizzard, so we didn't notice the charm of it immediately. Inside, there are multiple sitting rooms, fireplaces, decks, and even a big, lumbering dog to greet us warmly and we loved that! At night, during the holiday season, the owners have lights strung and their Christmas... More

This B&B might be a good location for skiing but it is very remote for other times of the year. It is about 8 miles from town with nothing nearby, so you have to drive to do anything. The owners were nice, it was clean, and there is a kitchen guests can use. But the room was on the small... More

Be our Guest Bed and Breakfast was actually a referral from my husband's friend. We had such a great time! We took a weekend babymoon. The hospitality is top-notch... This place really feels comfortable. The convenience of being able to go in and out without having to check in, wait for an elevator, park your car, etc.. is priceless. Breakfasts... More

The owners are well traveled, interesting, knowledgable and sincerely want you to enjoy your trip. HOSPITALITY PLUS, VERY COMFORTABLE AND something for everyone! I felt so welcome like I was "coming home" to see family. I was not just another customer I felt special as their knowledge of the area led me in the right direction for my particular needs.... Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I so remember your stay. I can see the importance of responding to reviews in a timely manner. Tom and I love to connect with our guests. So often they are hurrying to an activity or on down the road. It was a pleasure to visit with you. Plus, you are not too far... More

This is a very nice B&B hosted by a very friendly couple who have lived here almost two decades, so have a lot of local knowledge and recommendations they are very willing to share. The breakfasts are very good, from Pam's creme brûlée French toast to Tom's omelette. We stayed in the Rustic Room and found it amply sized and... More

Thank you. We are happy that you you folks had a pleasant stay. This is, after all, a home. We have made so many changes, additions and improvements to accommodate our guests. We love it when they feel like company. To remedy the slow moving hot water to your jetted tub, would have been to turn it on and let... More

This is a GREAT B&B. Clean, quiet, comfortable, convenient. We stayed here and skied at Wolf Creek, which is a spectacular 20 min drive on a clear day. The "Tom-lete" is a top five B&B breakfast anywhere! Other reviews seem to complain that it is "close to the highway". In the dead of winter where else do you want to... More

Thank you. We always want to know how we can make a stay more comfortable and pleasant. In fact, when there is space available, we often put our guests in other rooms to give more privacy. At other times, it is not possible or obvious. I was away during that time. My wonderful husband, Tom, had his hands full! We... More

Upon arrival, our host seemed reluctant to even greet us (his wife was not even there until late in the evening and all she said was "hi there," and went to her bedroom.) The room we booked was very cramped (Rustic Room), but the other choices would have been much worse...they were all on the lower level and like caves...no... More

I do apologize that you felt a bit uncomfortable. For whatever reason, I must have behaved badly. I have never been accused of NOT talking! We never want our guests to feel hurried or unwelcome. This has been our mission for nearly 18 years. Too bad you didn't go into the rooms downstairs. Each of them has a full private... More

We enjoyed our small family reunion at Be Our Guest. Tom and Pam are very warm and welcoming. Be sure you understand the layout of the home, with the loft being open and sharing a bath with the 2 rooms up there. There is bath on the 2nd floor that if very large that the 3rd floor can use. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Be Our Guest, A Bed & Breakfast/Guesthouse is an lovely old, 3 level mountain home nestled in the pines at the base of Jackson Mountain. With a great deal of thought and care, we have enlarged rooms, added baths, replaced the roof, the deck, the windows and done a little gardening, which was mostly for pleasure, salad and therapy! The ground level is quite comfortable with old solid wood paneling all around. The 2 guestrooms, The Indian Room and The Cowboy Room, have been re-done and private baths have been added. Each has a queen bed and sitting area. There is a large common area/living room and dining. It also has a guest kitchen for the use and convenience of our guests. We have antiques and Southwest art throughout. The next floor up is where we live and prepare and serve breakfast for you each morning. There is another, larger common area, sun room, floor to ceiling windows, nice fire in winter, big furniture to sink down into, an extra full bath and our nicest room, The Rustic Room. It has a queen bed, a private bath with jetted tub in a garden setting. A bay window looks out toward the hill behind us. On the upper level, is a large open Loft filled with twin beds. 4, in fact, comfortable and clean with charming quilts. It is a very popular area for single travelers and young folks. Opening onto the Loft are 2 more nice size guestrooms, The Victorian Room and The Family Room. Each with a queen bed and sitting area. There is one bath on this level and the one just below for these guests to share. There are robes and slippers in the rooms for your use. The bath is directly outside the guestroom doors. So, there are 2 baths to share, just neither in these rooms. We have a large deck wrapping around most of the house. From here you may watch the stars in the southern night sky and listen to the San Juan River across the way. You may choose to enjoy an early coffee or tea and watch the morning begin. You may prefer to sit out on the deck and have a glass of wine and relax after a full day. And, that's OK, because we want you to be comfortable and enjoy your stay! ... more   less
