We stayed here in July of 2015 and they had comfortable beds and very clean rooms and at a great price. The family that runs this Lodge is extremely nice and made us feel very welcomed. We stayed at several hotels on our vacation and by far this was the nicest place we stayed and comes highly recommended and we...

My wife and I reserved the last room the Lodge had on Tuesday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lynn was most helpful and had some great suggestions for activities during our stay. We loved High Country Lodge.

We were able to enjoy the town but come back to a wonderful sauna and hot tub watching sunset and deer. Later we grilled a steak and enjoyed the propane firepit. In the morning. ...a hot breakfast. Peaceful and beautiful

We are so lucky to be such a short distance from town (5 minutes), and yet able to offer peace and serenity to our guests. Wildlife often comes to visit and our sunsets are very enjoyable. We're glad you stayed with us and found the break you were looking for. Thank you for your kind review. We hope you will...

I always stay here when traveling through Pagosa Springs. This trip we stayed in the lodge room. Staff is friendly and helpful. Some minor things I notice due to housekeeping lack of awareness. Coffee pot handle was turned round to the pour spout / I rewashed the pot as I figured it was missed from last guest and no reg....

Our family stayed here for two nights at the end of a three week vacation and this was easily the best place we stayed We had cabin 406, which provided plenty of room for our family to spread out. The staff was very attentive and helpful--asked us more than once if we needed anything. The cabin was exceptionally clean and...

This was a beautiful place to stay. It was very quiet and the pictures you see on line were accurate. The front desk people were very friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is that the bed, sheets and pillows could have been a bit more comfortable.

On a 3,000 mile motorcycle trip, my church group spent one nite at the High Country Lodge. The staff was very friendly and efficient....check-in was a breeze even though 11 people showed up at once to check in. The amenities were so nice and the rooms were very comfortable. I loved the quilts on the beds, the soap, shampoo, etc...

Stayed in a little private cabin. A "tiny house". Clean, bright, private. Nice porch to sit on as the evening progresses. Wonderful cool breeze at night. Nice breakfast buffet style with good coffee. Loved it! Management seem easy to work with and eager to please. The owners are there, not just some employee following a corporate manual.
