There is a small river that runs along the edge of this place and backs up to a tree lined hill. Location is prime! The people who work here are outstanding and friendly! That's what makes it such a great experience. Very dog friendly. Everyone has a dog.

We stopped here on the way home. We love Pagosa springs and wanted to be closer. The boys love fishing in the river and it is right here! There is also a lake and both have good sized fish. The smaller kids can play in the river as it is not too deep. The staff here are nice and accommodating.... More

This campground is a little deceiving from the road, you have to take a dirt drive around the front of someone's home and down a small grade, but once there, gear place to stay. Plenty of room for large campers and RV's. Full service office/camp store. When we checked in, to really sweet ladies were there, next thing we know... More

This was our second visit to this campground. We like that's it right on the river and close to town. You can even float to town if you want (if water's not too high) on tubes. Yes the campsites are a little close together but it never bothers us. It's easy to get in and out of the RV sites.... More

I was looking in tourbooks as my husband was piloting our RV through Wolf Springs Pass in CO. Pagosa Springs was the next town coming up on the map, picked out This park. It was sorta late when we pulled in, but the manager's office was still open, unlike most other places we stopped. The park is right on the... More

By far, some of the friendliest staff I have encountered at a campground. I don't say that lightly as I had many lovely conversations and even had a personal fly fishing guide (sort of) who taught me how to get on the fish and be a better fisherman. The campsites are a little close together, but they are also on... More

We stayed there one night on a fall colors trip. Nice place, we picked the place right on the river. Only problem was with the gal at the desk learning to use the credit card scanner double charging my card. Easily fixed after I noticed it. Lovely view of the river. Lots of people with dogs. We met another couple... More
