very polite and accomodating people. Winter parking on sloped parking spots a bit unnerving as car actually slide into the street. Room was great, breakfast was sufficient, coffee was ready early, all in all great stay. Hallway even had a norfolk island palm so I felt like I was

Thank you Mike for your 5 star review and Patrick and I are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We do maintain our parking lot and spread sand to prevent slipping of vehicles but as we are a mountain town we do experience wintery/icy conditions periodically. Our plants in our hallway love the overhead skylight and they sure do well in there! We hope to have the opportunity to host you in the future. Patty

Micheline is a fantastic asset to Hotel Ouray, and our guests, and we thank you so much for your kind comments - this will definitely make her day! Yes, our Economy Rooms are small and so we provide square footage and photos on our website and third party booking sites so no one is surprised by the economy size. We are back into remodeling during this off season and sinks will be moved into the new remodeled bathrooms to provide more space and further upgrades are coming. We hope to have at least 4 Economy Rooms completed by next season. Thank you for joining us and we hope to host you in the future. Patty

We stayed 6 nights at Hotel Ouray last month. We felt relaxed and spoiled the entire stay. The hotel is a beautiful historic building, in which the owners have maintained the historic beauty while adding modern amenities. Our room was a beautiful suite (room 11) that was

Dear Joanne, We thank you for your amazing 5 star review of our staff and hotel, you truly made our day! Thank you for mentioning Micheline, as we think she is tops. Great with the guests and she works very hard in housekeeping as well, along with our other great staff, attempting to make rooms as spotless as possible. Thank you for your review of our breakfast and we are so pleased you enjoyed our limited selection and our 24/7 teas/cocoa in the evening. We couldn't do this without our amazing staff and all the hard work they put into making Hotel Ouray a place for our guests to enjoy for a nice get-a-way. Happy Anniversary! Patty

Pleasant old style hotel well placed in the middle of the town close to all amenities. The upper floor rooms are very quiet and a nice change from chain hotels. Helpful staff and a kitchen where the makings of hot tea was available! Parking directly outside.

Does this hotel have their own hot springs? How far from downtown is this hotel? Thanks
Hotel Ouray does not have a hot spring. We are centrally located with the Wiesbaden 2 blocks from hotel, easy walk and the Public Pool, about 4 blocks from hotel, is due to partially open this coming Saturday. The entire pool has plans to open in mid-June. It looks absolutely amazing with a HUGE slide. We do offer towels you can take to the pools to save you a few dollars.

We have a coffee room where you can help yourself to coffee, tea and hot cocoa. We make the coffee fresh each morning. We do not have a DVD player. We do have Dish Network available in all the rooms and new flat screen TV's in all the rooms. Parking is on the street, we have 10 spaces designated to Hotel Ouray, directly in front of our entrance. There is numerous other parking available should you come during a very busy time, but it is street parking. We hope this helps. Please let me know if I can answer any further questions.
