We only stayed one night on our road trip but wish we could’ve stayed longer. We loved this lil place. Best bed on our journey. Seriously slept on a cloud. Win Win. And that River view was spectacular.
The check-in/check-out/breakfast staff were all very friendly. Having the river right outside your patio/deck is amazingly peaceful and serene! The room though, needs to be updated. The headboard on the wall is the same white color as the wall. Either the wall or headboard should be a different contrasting color. The carpet was stained and needs to be replaced. Actually I think they should remove some of the King beds so that there is only 1 bed in some rooms to allow more room for a couch or hideabed. The shower has cute shower heads BUT absolutely NO water pressure...maybe they should go back to the old style shower heads so that maybe the pressure would increase. OH...be prepared for the most powerful toilet I have ever seen...you could flush a horse down that thing! The breakfast area needs to be reorganized because they are tables for 6 that are squeezed in together making it hard to get to the back of the table if others are sitting at the front of that table. Note: they do have breakfast burritos but you might not know that if you miss the small print on the little picture frame. We actually were fine with the bagels, however they don't offer flavored cream cheese but I quickly learned to either just add jelly with the plain cream cheese or purchase flavored cream cheese at the grocery store. No maid service blamed on covid. With a little tweaking this place could easily be 5 stars!…
We spent two nights at the hotel. All stuffs are friendly and helpful. The room is spacy and clean with a mountain/river view balcony. Only five minutes walking distance to the hot springs recreation center. We are really appreciated the stay and will come back for sure.
We loved the Hot Springs Inn. Check-in was super easy and the front desk clerk was friendly and easy going! Our room (#221) was nicely furnished, very clean and the best feature was the balcony off the back of our room with the Uncompahgre River two stories below! The sounds of the water splashing off the rocks was delightful! We spent a half hour soaking in the hot tubs which was so relaxing! The beds were comfortable and we both slept very well. The continental breakfast was ok, and we were on the road promptly upon check- out! We will come back again!! A pure delight!
Hotel staff are very friendly. Check in was easy. My room was large, comfortable, quite, clean, and had a private patio overlooking the river in back. Hotel decor is a funny "cowboy kitsch" theme. Breakfast is good, an expanded continental selection, even had breakfast burritos on request. Ouray restaurants are about 1/2 miles away. I'd be happy to stay here again!
