This is more than your typical KOA, with a great riverside and wooded setting. All sites are good, near creek, lots of trees, lots of shade, away from highway, and lots of different cabins. Appeals to all types, from tents to big RVs, old and young. Most memorable was the restaurant, bar, and live bands on the weekends. They serve... More

The good is the people were friendly, the grounds were clean and the restrooms were very clean. Otherwise this campground was not spectacular. The sites were all gravel except for some patches of grass. All sites had a table and firepit. There are lots of trees, and scenery is beautiful. Internet was strong but so slow. There was no pool... We loved this campground it was pretty and very clean. We had a nice site that backed up to the creek surrounded by the mountains. My kids loved riding their bikes around the campground and playing at the park. We had food once while we were here and it was pretty good. We did have HORRIBLE neighbors but that isn't... More

We camped at the KOA for 3 nights (4 adults and 3 children). We reserved both a tent site and a small sleeping cabin. There was a problem with our reservation when we checked in (Tent site and cabin were too far apart). The staff was so friendly and accommodating, they and were able to work out a solution for... KOA's to me are the Walmart of the camping world. I like how they are usually very clean and beautiful. I never care for feeling like I'm being processed and supervised. KOA's usually run a tight ship and this one is no different. Don't park there, keep the noise down, tiny camp fires only, don't use that exit, etc. Common... More

This is a really nice place. The front desk was very accommodating and friendly. The camp spot was comfortable and spacious. There is a restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner. Also a nice camp store well stocked. Thanks to Jamie for the spot. We really liked it and would return hopefully next year!! David

Spent two nights here while visiting Ouray and Silverton. Reservations on line were easy. The first 10 sites or so are on the main entrance road so all traffic coming and going pass by. Also the sites are close to County Road #23 so some traffic noise there too. Not a deal breaker. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant on... More

We had 20 family members in different units at this KOA. Cabins & tent areas nice. Showers nice, clean & plenty of warm water. They serve breakfast & dinner. Super nice staff & plenty of staff. RV sites very close! The site next to ours was family, but if it hadn't been, it would have been TOO close! They have... More

The staff is friendly, helpful, visible and efficient. The campground is kept really clean. The laundry room is in with the game room and there are two very comfortable padded chairs to sit in while waiting on your laundry.

We've been here twice within a year, tent camping with our dogs. They are very nice people, the grounds are beautiful and it's close to hiking and town. All the amenities are clean and family-friendly. The river runs through the campground, so you can hear the water, if you're camped out by the pond (our preference). Wonderful place to camp,...
