Rarely do you come in to a town this size and find such a nice place. Rooms are small, but very nicely appointed. The property itself is clean and well maintained. I get tired of seeing that rooms are clean in reviews; They are supposed to be! I like the fact that whoever owns this place takes pride in the... More

Good clean rooms, great location, helpful associates. We were there 2 nights. Overall a very clean pleasant facility. There was minimal staff presence which is good unless there is a problem. Minor inconveniences were, non operational fan in bathroom, very slow drain in sink (room 2), and extended wait for HOt water in shower.

This inn offers a choice of camping in their back yard for a very reasonable rate. After several days of motorcycle travel, it was nice to have a clean bathroom with hot shower and placed to plug in battery chargers. Best part was being able to walk a few blocks into town for food. Good grocery store and cafes. I... More

Not wanting to stay in Telluride, we opted to stay in Norwood....best decision...really nice newer property with great rooms. Wonderful clean, medium size rooms with fridge, micro, and coffee maker. The furniture and the decor of the rooms is quite upscale...when was the last time you had real wood doors....nice! Beds very comfortable with lots of really nice pillows...hubby said... More

I had to travel to Norwood for work recently and I was definitely a little nervous about where I would have to stay in such a small town. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was small but it was clean and nice. The bathroom was a little small but there was a refrigerator and a microwave which was a nice... More

Norwood is small. The BackCountry Inn is not a bad place for a single night - as long as you have quiet neighbors. Walls are VERY thin. You will hear all sounds in adjacent rooms. Wifi VERY unreliable - couldn't use it several days - slow and couldn't even log in. Nice, cozy room. No table at all. No shampoo... More

We stopped here on our way south as there isn't much accommodation in this area. Backcountry Inn seemed to be the best choice. It looks like an old motel that has been re-faced and updated. It looks very nice from the outside, but the rooms are really small. Our room had a very nice fridge and microwave, but no table... More

Not sure what brings many folks to Norwood, CO but should you be in the neighborhood, this is a great place to spend the night. It is a newer, clean motel. Rooms aren't big but have everything you need. Nice little fridge and microwave in the room, plus warm chocolate chip cookies in the lobby. Telluride is 35-40 minutes away.... More

We stopped here for the night on our way to Moab. We were delighted by cookies and coffee in the lobby. Our room was clean and comfy. There were a set of bunk beds in the room,as well as our king bed, which results in a smaller space. But it would be great if you have kids. No desk and... More

Norwood CO is about 500 people but has a very good quality motel. There are only 10 rooms but they are very clean with comfortable beds. Bathroom was clean also with plenty of hot water and towels (as well as rags for cleaning window, etc). Reception was great and offered home baked cookies and fresh coffee. There is no restaurant...
