A fabulous little motel. Stunning views, big rooms. No fridge or AC, but that is a minor point. There is a bar and cafe adjoining the property that serves great food until 9 at night. This really is a great place to stay.

I stay here every time I come to visit friends. I never have any problems plus the restaurant is great. The view of the mountain peaks is awesome. Nederland is a cozy little town and Bolder isn't that far of a drive

Bed was OK, although some lights were not functioning. I had left an energy bar in the sidepocket of my backpack. At different times during the night I heard some plastic-noises. In the morning the plastic wrap of the bar was open so I had to throw it away. It is all in wood so you can hear a lot...

We stayed here on my dad's pilgrimage to my dad's old hippie stomping grounds of Nederland. We had only arranged to stay for 2 days but stayed 2 more. We had three adults and one baby in one room which was a little cramped but worked. The TV and heat worked and everything seemed clean to this clean freak BUT... More

We did not stay at the lodge, but did take a trail ride. Cindy, the stable owner, was wonderful. We felt the horses were well cared for and enjoyed spending time with Cindy and the horses. So glad we rode here rather than at a bigger place!

Worst motel experience ever, manager was drunk to the point of slurred speech! He told me to write my name and credit card info on a paper so he "would remember us in the morning"...Then he ran my card and all of a sudden he yelled at my 12 year old boy to go outside and play with the bears... This is not the "Marriott" as I was told by the manager during check in. Do not worry, he is fine in the morning. This is Nederland and I loved the rustic quality to this place and the many truly authentic people I met while staying there. It is clean and beds are ok, but the views and sounds are... More

This is a basic , rustic room but comfortable. The best feature is the view, which was stunning ! There is one other hotel in town which was $50 more per night, so we chose this hotel as we were on a budget. Luckily we got the last room available. This location is right outside of town, which is handy... More

As others have said, this is a rustic, fairly comfortable place with great views, access to all sorts of trails, climbs, Nederland joints, and the like. If you're after a fitness room, a bodacious free breakfast, a swimming pool for the kiddies, keep on traveling. Bathrooms are small, but quite serviceable. Windows don't always open, and there's no a/c --... More

The room is clean, mattress not very comfortable, no soap in the bathroom, no shampoo or hair dryer. The lodge is the just under a mile from town, the 1st street pub has great food. The views are wonderful. One concern- the front door does not have a dead bolt or chain, the back door has dead bolt, back window... More
