My husband and I "got away" from our work lives and spent 3 days at the Mt. Princeton resort mid-week. Our Cliffside room was spacious and well-kept, and the views were absolutely stunning. The hot springs are divided into a family area and a separate area for 16+ ages. There was plenty of room to completely relax and/or enjoy conversation with other guests. The on-site restaurant had a varied and well-prepared menu for dinner. Breakfast was pretty basic. Nearby activities (just in case you don't want to spend the entire time in the pools) include an easy drive to St. Elmo - a ghost town, plenty of hiking - easy to challenging, and short drives into Buena Vista or Salida.

I will definitely come back! My favorite experiences were soaking in the pools in the river, and water yoga with Sandie. In fact, if I lived nearby I would go to Sandie’s classes regularly. The room was a clean, updated motel room. The food was good, but while I enjoyed not having to leave for a meal, it might not be a first choice given other options. The staff were all friendly and welcoming.

My wife and I spent a weekend at the Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort and had a great time. The spa area was great. My wife enjoyed a personal soak and said it was fantastic. The temperature of some of the pools in the Spa area were a little luke warm which made for some crowding in the hot pools. Chalk Creek was low enough to use the Creekside Hot Springs. These are natural pools that are fun to explore (rec. water shoes) and heat will vary from one pool to another. The creekside suites were fantastic; they have a great patio that's only few feet away from Chalk Creek, they also seemed to be sound proofed which quieted the room from neighbors and the creek.

We loved our stay! The hot springs pools were clean and VERY relaxing. We were there in 32 degree temperatures and the spas were wonderfully warm/hot. Huge soft towels were given to us and we could shower and dress right after our two hour soak! A great way to end our day!

We have been visiting the hot springs here for a few years now and would regularly commit our weekends to spending time at the pools; however the quality of our experiences have been degrading with each visit and the last two trips have been outright disappointing. In the past, we could expect a quiet, relaxing time on the spa/adult side of the pools, with a calm energy and healing environment. Unfortunately, Mount Princeton now feels much more like a Vegas rooftop party; people bring Bluetooth speakers and drink to the point of slurring and falling around the pools, yell across pools to each other, and crowd in with no regard for the space or experience of others. No staff monitor the outdoor areas, nor do they seem to care about (or to know how to respond to) requests to check

haleyyyyyyyyyy, I am disappointed to hear that your experiences have been so underwhelming. It is the case that the growth of our state has brought many new demographics to the area including those looking for a more traditional "resort" atmosphere. It is something that we are constantly in our planning meetings. Thank you for taking the time to share and we appreciate your patronage past/present/....and hopefully future. Regards,
