My daughter suggested this place for her birthday. It was a very good choice. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the creek and Japanese pools were crowded. The relaxing pool had plenty of room. We did not take advantage of the spa offerings as we arrived late. Our room

This is the most relaxing place in all of Colorado, if you are looking to take the family I’d go in the summer when the wAter slides are open and the weather supports more outdoor activities. If you’re looking to get your lady riled up, this is the place.

This is the most awesome, cool, relaxing place. It is the perfect ending to a ski vacation. We received amazing massages from the spa. The juice bar was great. We stayed on the property. We will definitely return.

They have really upgraded this place in the last 10 years. Lots more options on where to stay. Whether it's a cabin on the hill, Creekside lodging or Cliffside rooms (that's where we stayed) they all have great views. There is now an adult part to the hot springs with a bar!

The staff at the front desk AND the spa were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, very spacious and nicely stocked with water bottles, coffee and linens. I took advantage of the water yoga class and Sandi did an excellent job of leading us.

Is the spa area included in an overnight stay or do you have to pay the additional $40 to access it?
itsMeKmC, The Spa area is absolutely included in the room rate providing the guest is 16 years of age or older. Hope this helped!

How far is it from the closest major airport?
Not sure. I would guess Salida has an airport. That is probably 30 to 40 minutes away.

Angela, I apologize for the lateness of this response! There are a myriad of things to do aside from soaking! To name a few: hiking (even in the snow!), biking as we provide complimentary cycle and our fitness classes are just a few suggestions. We have a stable near us that does provide rides even during the winter months. Lastly, another favorite activity is taking a good book to our lounge area and reading by the fire! I am certain you will be able to find ways to stay engaged. Cheers!

Christina, This is a very legitimate question. In years passed we did offer them as an accessory to the soaking relaxation pools. Unfortunately the shear amount of them became almost unmanageable to keep up with the demand. In addition we found that the noodles would end up literally "down the creek" which created a nuisance to the natural environment down stream. Through the process of eliminating them as a complimentary item we have been able to cut down on the amount of refuse the creek collected. I hope that make sense! Thanks a ton for enjoying our resort!

Angie, Thanks for reaching out. The answer is YES! Our pools are open year round. The exception to this is our pool slide which is open Memorial day through Labor day. I hope this was helpful! Cheers! Matthew Roberts Dir. of Brand Mgmt.
