Detailed Reviews
I cannot emphasize how much we enjoyed our stay. Sandee and Buzz were terrific hosts. They attended to our every need, and were courteous, thoughtful, engaging. I could not get enough of their stories! Our room (the Suffolk) has, hands down, the most comfortable mattress that I’ve ever slept on, and Sandee and Buzz made us a gourmet breakfast each morning of our stay. It was a wonderful way to spend our anniversary— thank you for everything!

Gorgeous and quaint property. The hosts were so gracious, kind and had many helpful recommendations for things to do nearby. The rooms were immaculate and had all the amenities we could have hoped for. Perfect place to stay when traveling or for a weekend getaway.

Quick one night stay and it was amazing. Great private location, great service. Very accommodating to our early arrival. Water available upon arrival to help us adjust to elevation. When we returned after our evening out, there were snacks and water waiting for us. Enjoyed a night in the hot tub with my wife on the amazing deck. Breakfast was phenomenal and the dogs were so friendly! We will definitely stay again if are in the area! Thank you!

We reserved a room here for our wedding night, and mentioned to the innkeepers that we'd probably be arriving fairly late -- 8 or 9 PM. Our wedding was cleaned up sooner than we thought, so we actually arrived around 5:30.
When we arrived, we couldn't check in. The door was locked, and no one answered the bell or the phone. We hung around for half an hour, calling periodically, but still got no response. So we found another B&B.
When we finally got a return call, it turns out they'd driven to the airport and gone out for dinner.
The location is lovely, but be aware that you can't change your plans; you have to check in exactly when you say you will, or else.

We spent the weekend at Rogers Inn, The Pines. Our flight got into Denver late in the evening, but Sandee and Buzz were up to greet us and to make sure we got familiar with the Inn's amenities. Breakfasts were outstanding - homemade and nourishing - and the room was extremely comfortable. The Inn has a pub area where we relaxed, and also a hot tub - we didn't avail ourselves of it, but robes, slippers and towels were provided in case we wanted to. The canine residents -- two miniature Schnauzers and a Springer spaniel - are incredibly well trained and added to the charm. This is a great place for families - the Inn would be perfect for a family reunion.

I had made reservations at the Rogers Inn many months before our trip. I spoke with Sandy at the time, and she had taken incredible notes on our conversation. When we arrived (later in the evening), Buzz and Sandy were both still up and greeted us warmly. One drawback of the inn is that there are steps to go almost anywhere. Other than that, we absolutely thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights there. The breakfasts were delicious, well thought-out and with more than enough food. The location is fabulous--far enough from everywhere to be incredibly quiet, but close enough to I-25 and Colorado Springs to go almost anywhere in the area in just minutes. We would highly recommend this BnB to any couple or even a group wishing to rent out the whole place. The Rogers made our trip to Colorado WONDERFUL, and they set the bar even higher for all BnBs! Thank you!

This B and B is just far enough away from town to be able to enjoy the quiet of the country but is just minutes away from town. My favorite part was sitting on the deck and watching the humming birds feed from the flowers and feeders. They have a great happy hour and a comfortable hot tub. The breakfasts are gourmet and Sandee is very mindful of food restrictions. We had a complementary bottle service of Champagne and delicious chocolate covered strawberries. We will definitely stay again.

We had the pleasure of staying two nights at Rogers Inn and it was heaven. I picked this B & B because each room has a theme - locations that the well-traveled host and hostess have hand-picked! We stayed in the Eulenbis room which was able to accommodate me and my husband and our 18 year old daughter. It was a little tight but so wonderful! The hot tub was heaven on this travelers sore back and the downstairs den we were delighted to have to ourselves ! Breakfast was different each morning and so unique. If you are in need of some desperate R & R and want to be taken care of then go to Rogers Inn at the Pines. We loved it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rogers Inn at the Pines. The family suite was the perfect solution for our family of 4 and I'm so glad my brother and his wife also elected to stay as well. My mother is a senior and needed a little extra looking after and Sandee was so kind and patient with her. Our group was in Monument to attend a family wedding reunion. Staying here with events in Castle Rock, Larkspur, Monument and Palmer Lake simplified planning and execution for all the events we had to attend. I don't know how we would have functioned given there was no wedding planner had we not been so comfortably situated at this great inn. Their faithful old yellow lab, Kaiser, was a cutie pie and we are all dog lovers so it was nice to have him greet us so enthusiastically.
Whether you have a full day of sightseeing, hiking or going to a big game at the Air Force Academy down in Colorado Springs, you will not start your day hungry. Sandee is Cordon Bleu trained and will send you off with a gourmet breakfast served in her cheerfully appointed kitchen. Included is choice of juice, tea, ( 11 kinds of Earl Grey!!) coffee ( imported specially from Germany ), homemade granola with yogurt and an entree, which during our 4 day stay included a variation on Eggs Benedict, Ricotta and Blueberry stuffed French Toast, Chili-Cheese Fritatta with Corn Muffins, to Pancakes, all accompanied with sausage and other treats. The homemade granola was a such huge hit with everyone and we hope Sandee will start selling it online so we can have a steady supply forever. No hesitations on our part, we will tell everyone we know about this wonderful B & B, which should more properly be called a 5 star resort. Between the location ( half an hour from Colorado Springs airport) all amenities of the guest den with reclining couches, stocked fridge and bar, hot tub, fireplace, free wi-fi + guest computer if you need one, 200 videos, microwave/popcorn cozy/spotlessly clean rooms and fantastic gourmet breakfasts! The beautiful woods surrounding the house are full of bunny rabbits and fun for exploring. There is a little play structure for kids and a BBQ for guest use next to the deck and hot tub area.
World travelers will marvel at the collection of memorabilia gracing every shelf and inch of wall space from Buzz and Sandee's life in Europe. They have opened up their home in a spirit of hospitality and generosity that is rare and genuinely appreciated.
One caveat, Monument is a little over 7300 feet above sea level. One of our party suffered from acute altitude sickness coming from sea level. Drink a lot of water and stay hydrated if you aren't used to being at altitude. Sandee will serve you a big glass of water with your breakfast.. Drink it and ask of another one!

My stay at the Rogers Inn lasted almost a week. Sandee and Buzz adjusted to my schedule and culinary preferences and delighted me with wonderful breakfast. The house is very large their dogs are friendly and smart.
I enjoyed browsing books in their extensive library. My room was very clean with extra soft linens and charming decor.
My favorite features of this Inn are:
1. Homemade granola
2. Outdoor tub surrounded by a pine grove
3. Complimentary full self service bar.
4. Wonderful cookies at night
5. Soft robes
Quiet, quiet nights and a lovely place to run.
