Loved our site. We had the river in our site. Very peaceful!Beautiful campground. It seemed busy, but not crazy. It was close to shops and restaurants. We only stayed one night. We would stay here again

Riverbend RV Park and Cabins is a truly fantastic park to visit. Montrose has pretty much anything you’d want or need and the park is close by it all, but provides the feeling of being away from the city. The river running along side the park is refreshing and relaxing. There’s so much to do in the area, from Ridgeway to Ouray to Telluride. Drive the Million Dollar Highway to Silverton, and then visit Durango too. And of course, just a short drive away is the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, an outstanding national park. The people in the Riverbend make the stay completely worth your while, whether it be over night or for a month or two. The park is clean, well kept, and the rest rooms and laundry are second to none. You won’t be disappointed in your stay here!

This RV park checks all the boxes. Beautiful setting, clean and well maintained facilities, friendly helpful staff, gravel sites with full hook-ups, fast and easy check in and a great location! We were able to explore some of the most beautiful parts of Colorado within an hour drive of this location. If we wanted to hang out at the park there were plenty of community areas to relax outside.

After being on the road for 6 weeks in our travel trailer, I can honestly say Riverbend is one of the nicest we stayed in. The setting is lovely - we were on a large, level site right along the river. The bathrooms, showers and laundry are first class. The location is quiet and off the beaten path, but also close to a great shopping/restaurant area. There’s an emphasis on cleanliness. safely and security and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I happened on this place and it was wonderful! I'm allergic to the modern day 200 dollar motel room. I paid roughly 95 bucks a night for a cabin that sleeps two with a great kitchen and BBQ pit as well. I got there on Labor day. I was told by Gracie at the front desk that the owners were having an appreciation BBQ for all their guests! The admission fee was $0!!! Lots of folks brought covered dishes and we all had a great time! David and his wife Jen know what it is to take care of their guests! The park is sparkling clean, the employees all have a great attitude and my stay was wonderful. Matter of fact, because of their kindness, I will be back for 4 nights in October. They have everything from RV sites to tent sites to small cabins to a Luxury apartment. Cant beat it!

Riverbend was clean and quiet. All the staff were friendly & helpful. We made this our base for Montrose, Ouray, Silverton & Telluride for 2 weeks. Walmart, Target, City Market were close by. Our site was next to Uncompahgre River and was nice to hear the water at night.

The park was neat and clean, and the employees were friendly and helpful. We went to the National Park, and it was very easy to get to. We loved Montrose. It’s small but has so much to offer. We will be back!

We had made a reservation for this privately owned campground, and we were warmly greeted and shown to our gravel surfaced back in site. The park was shady, fairly spacious, and right along the Uncompahgre River. And, the sound of the flowing river was ever so relaxing! The park is gated and we were given a code for entry. Many folks camped in class A motorhomes but the park works very well for travel trailers. Shopping and restaurants are nearby, and we were so happy that we had allotted ourselves a couple of hours at the nearby Ute Museum.

They texted with us to help us find a shady spot before we arrived, the staff is so friendly. The whole camp is beyond clean, with multiple public spots for relaxing and grilling. Our dogs loved the little dog park on site and it's super close to a HUGE dog park. It's right on the river, next to a little fishing pond, a few steps from a local bike trail for nature or getting downtown, walking distance to the Ute Indian Museum - everything! It's situated close to Black Canyon, the San Juans, and so much more. It is gravel, so it gets warm on paws midday. 5 stars, 2 paws up!!
