This park was just fabulous! The people who ran the park were extremely friendly and helpful and it was obvious that they all take great care to make the park so beautiful! The bike path that starts right next to the campground was just gorgeous!

Best RV park in Montrose, CO and easily one of the top 3 parks we’ve ever visited countrywide. We’ve stayed here for an extended stay (3 months) and a shorter stay (1 week) and both stays were fabulous. The RV park is maintained meticulously with very careful attention to detail. The gated community made us feel extra secure. There are several walking trails just steps away, riverfront access, a designated pet area, ample parking and RV maneuverability, easy access to grocery stores and shopping, beautiful fruit trees and manicured open spaces, and lots of birds to enjoy. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, too. You really can’t ask for more in an RV park! We’ll stay here anytime we are visiting Montrose and we highly recommend this beautiful RV park to others.

A wonderful park. To say this place is clean and well maintained is a major understatement. It is immaculate. The staff is constantly maintaining the park. An example - they even rake the gravel RV sites after a guest leaves. The laundry a bath house is the nicest and cleanest I’ve ever seen. Very friendly and helpful. Even assist with parking. Can’t say enough good about this place. Would give 20 stars if I could.

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a campground near Montrose. We recently spent 9 days here and we were very pleased with the whole experience. The facilities look new, the laundry and shower house were very clean as well as the grounds. If you have a dog traveling with you, they have a large are fenced area for your pets to run. The campground is also gated which I like so not just anyone can come driving through. We are from St. Louis, and I know it can be hard to find a nice place just off the computer be this place will not disappoint. I would highly recommend Riverbend if you are traveling to camp in Montrose area.

We stayed here for 4th of July weekend 2020 and we were very impressed. It's nicely tucked away right down by the river with lots of tree coverage for shade so we found it comfortable even during the hot season. Also it sits lower than the surrounding area so all you hear is the river and virtually no traffic noise, even though you are right around the corner from the convenience of Montrose.

We came to visit Ridgeway, no chance of getting a holiday weekend camp site there, but we are glad we didn't. It couldn't have worked out better to day trip down to Ridgeway, and camp here at night, with convenience near town for grocery runs, fishing supplies at Big5/Walmart, drive in movie theater, etc but didn’t feel like we were in the middle of town.

The little lake right there is nice and clear with lots of spots to fish from the shore. It’s right next to the camp so is easy to walk over any time with the kids, or to spend a relaxing morning before breakfast for the evening after dinner. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful, everything is new and well maintained, shared fire pits, BBQ, nice dog park and a nice size location that we really enjoyed and felt at home. Looking forward to coming back, this is the best home base for visiting Ridgway and the surrounding area.

Book it Now! This RV park will fill up quickly. Riverbend is a beautiful park in a fantastic location. What sets this park apart from others is the owners and camp hosts.

The park's owners are exceptional; everything they do is done for the benefit of their guests. A few examples include oversized RV sites, WiFi, and they even love dogs because they have an off-lease dog park.

The camp hosts here are fantastic; Rob and Becky and Kirby and Robin are two couples that truly went above and beyond. They are simply the best!

We had such a great time we invited several of our friends to come down and rent a cabin, which they all did, and we had an absolute blast! The most amazing trip ever!

We were long-term residents for almost 3 years at this RV park. The location is definitely the best by far around Montrose. It's right along the Uncompahgre River and part of the town's trail system (great for kayaking or biking), dog friendly, close to shopping, quick access to get out of town to the mountains, and by far the quietest RV park location in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful, the grounds are well kept, and the modern bathrooms are very clean. The few and occasional issues we had were typical of most RV parks: some of the guests weren't always courteous when it came to idling engines (noise and exhaust fumes), observing quiet hours, picking up after/controlling pets, and respecting other's space. If you're looking for a place to park your RV for a bit while exploring the area or looking for housing it's the best option by far!

I happened on this place and it was wonderful! I'm allergic to the modern day 200 dollar motel room. I paid roughly 95 bucks a night for a cabin that sleeps two with a great kitchen and BBQ pit as well. I got there on Labor day.
I was told by Gracie at the front desk that the owners were having an appreciation BBQ for all their guests! The admission fee was $0!!! Lots of folks brought covered dishes and we all had a great time! David and his wife Jen know what it is to take care of their guests! The park is sparkling clean, the employees all have a great attitude and my stay was wonderful. Matter of fact, because of their kindness, I will be back for 4 nights in October. They have everything from RV sites to tent sites to small cabins to a Luxury apartment. Cant beat it!

I rented one of the cabins. It was PERFECT! It had a complete kitchen and was well supplied with dishware, cookware and utensils. The park is gated, which provides good security, and the rules provide for a quiet, safe experience. The cabin was extremely clean! Riverbend is right on the river. It was pleasant to sit on a bench on the bank and enjoy the water and birds. The staff at check-in was pleasant. I would return if I needed a place to stay in this area!

Along with two other couples each in their respective motorhomes, my wife and I stayed about 1 week, camping in our motorhome, flat towing our Jeep. The campground is conveniently located near multiple service providers such as Walmart, Discount Tires, Restaurants and Fast Food, Autoparts, etc... The campground is located away from main roads and is quiet except perhaps the sound of water running in the nearby river! Campground is secured by fencing and an automatic gate with a passcode provided to residents. Electricity (voltage / amps - 50 amp service) was in proper ranges, something we often do not experience. Laundry room was well equipped and very clean as were all of the other facilities. Convenient for trips into Ouray - about a 35 mile drive one way, we Jeep in the San Juan Mountains.

Highly recommend.
