This campground is located about 10 miles from the Black Canyon. Best entrance to the campground is through Alleyway although beware there is not a smooth transition from the street into the alley and even though we were driving extremely slow, we encountered a big enough bump to have items fall out of cabinets in our RV when entering the... This was very near the Black Canyon. The owner offered great recommendations for places to go and things to see that were not on the normal tourist circuit. The camp ground was average. The sites were very very small and that distracted from our enjoyment of our stay there. The bathrooms were clean, but a little dated. All in all...I... More

Free mini golf, clean bathrooms, lots of amenities, nice people running the pace who are there all the time ensuring everyone is able to get what they need. We put up our tent 10 feet from a stream (nice way to sleep). Check out the old railroad bridge converted to a crossing.

Spaces would be a bit tight for larger rigs. Owners almost always visible on the property; nice folks. Be sure to stroll to the bridge over Cedar Creek, but the water flows pretty fast, so I'd monitor small children. Cute mini-golf area attracts a lot of attention. Fenced dog park on-site. An easy drive to groceries, liquor store, hardware, and... More

We were not happy with our attempted stay at Cedar Creek RV Park. We called to reserve a pop-up camper campsite with electric a few months before our visit in July They took my credit card information and reserved the site for us. When we got there in the early evening for our stay, they said there wasn’t a reservation... More

Recently spent one night at the park and was very impressed with the customer service we received. Great location with plenty of trees, close to the Black Canyon. Very clean bathhouses and showers. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

On our way back to Montana- decided to check our the Black Canyon of National Gunnison Park- found this RV campground- Spaces are very tight- but managed to accommodate our 3 slide 5th wheel. Facilities were very clean- place was quite busy but still quiet- not the most scenic place but very nicely done.

Immaculate well maintained grounds and facilities. Tastefully decorated. All the amenities one would need. Friendly and helpful staff. Outside patio near the office and laundry/ showers. A little putt putt golf area. In the three years we have travelled and camped off and on this is the nicest campground we have stayed at.

We have stayed here several times on our way to and from Colorado. The staff (owners?) are very friendly. The bathrooms and laundry facilities are clean though maybe a bit dated. The free putt putt is challenging and fun but has definitely suffered over the years from tree roots and weather and overgrowth of bushes. Some of the putters are... More
