Cons:

We had a room with a very small terrace without shade, or balcony, in full sun without air conditioning so the sun beat in our room, it was very hot, fortunately we had two fans otherwise it is unlivable. Also the cleanliness leaves to be desired, when we arrived there were insects, the floor was not clean, the towels are not super clean, they were stained and the sheets holed.
– The wifi is paid, basic it is not a problem because we have an unlimited internet package except that we had almost no internet network, surely made on purpose to pay for wifi.
Television has beugs.
There are plenty of wasps at the pool.
– For meals, if you do not arrive at the beginning of the service things will surely be missing, they do not always put everything back. It’s often the same meals on offer, there’s not a lot of diversity as the week goes on.
– The Quality/Award ratio is not great, it is quite expensive for what it is.

Pros:

The staff is pleasant, attentive, helpful and takes care of the well-being of the holidaymakers.
- Pool games are available free of charge as well as board games, boules and racket games.
- Very nice tennis courts and well maintained multi-sport court.
The food is good.
There is a fridge available in the rooms.
Things to do during the day and evening entertainment.
The club is well located.
- There are carts available to move our luggage from the parking lot to our room.
-There is a bar within the club and a snack at the pool.

So the place is magnificent, the staff very friendly but (there is a but) the housekeeping leaves something to be desired. We came from August 23 to 27, room M101, on arrival cobweb with the spider in the cupboard in the sleeping area, under the bed the broom had certainly not been swept and the toilets were not great (hair and dust when we raised the bowl), the hot water tank makes a big crash at 1:23 and 3:35 every morning, which wakes you up with a start at first, after which you get used to it, apart from that very beautiful view. We came in June 2022 with a 6 month old baby and therefore a stroller and to access our accommodation there were quite a few stairs (not cool in a stroller) this year the baby has grown up and our accommodation M101 is located just below the bar ! Which during the evenings, entertainment and other noises is very disturbing for a baby who needs sleep, you should be a little more careful when booking when you allocate accommodation. The restaurant has a killer breakfast, fresh bread, very good pastries, sweet/salty in short, very good. On the other hand, the meals are nothing transcendent and the cleaning level once again needs to be reviewed. And the children's garden, seriously you should take care of it, it is completely abandoned which once again is not cool for the little ones. Apart from a few negative comments I admit, we had an excellent stay.

Third year for us.

We were a little disappointed when we arrived compared to other years. The change in management and team, particularly in entertainment, and the lack of staff (quite general in the catering sector this year) were felt straight away, even before they were confirmed to us.

But for all that, it’s not worth the somewhat harsh reviews I read.
To begin with, this Belambra is a 3B (and not a 4 or 5) and the value for money is more than correct. Certainly the rooms are not renovated. But they were clean and we found little better in some 5Bs. The food is not exceptional: it actually changes from the almost indecent buffets of some high-end ones. But it is very correct and despite a congestion at meal times this year, we even found it better and more creative than last year in the end. Very few staff at the service (which could not have been easy) but always pleasant and smiling, doing their best to ensure vacationers have a good time. Wink to Melvin who was great!

Reduced entertainment team and obviously as it was THE strong point of this Belambra it's a bit disappointing. But when you have good ones, you need the number less. This is also where we see the good ones. Special mention to Anton who almost single-handedly brought the excitement of the days and evenings with an energy and a smile that he never lost and who made us have a great time!

Enchanting setting, nice teen club, plenty of activities around, swimming pool around which there are almost always free deckchairs (very rare in clubs in August!), relaxed family atmosphere in which you simply feel good.

And finally, a new very present Director; listening to his vacationers, anxious to give them a good vacation, who with his team and the means at hand managed to make us spend very good evenings, a very good week in the end and who we saw absolutely EVERYWHERE there was a need, even in the service! Respect!

In short, we will come back without hesitation! We just hope that the swimming pool will finally have been RENOVATED and that we will be given back the beautiful view that we had there two years ago and in previous years!

Room in the central building poorly soundproofed from 7am noise of the setting up of the terrace room and entertainment until 11pm.
Persistent urine smell in the bathroom despite me disinfecting everything as soon as we arrive. Carpeted throughout the room. Unspacious for 4, broken cot (luckily I still take mine) air conditioning that malfunctions (repairman past)
Average catering little varied for children
No tasting offer at 4pm compared to other all inclusive clubs, you have a snack by the pool but the rates change daily
Shabby and rundown playground
Home of the club child not warm and not hot so my children did not want to go there
No cleaning in the middle of your stay
Only 2 rolls of toilet paper must go to the reception to claim the rest
Bar on the club square but expensive
Breakfast until 9.30am to 9am there is already nothing left
The club is in elevation and pedestrian the pool is at the very bottom
Animations start at 21h15 too late especially when you are awakened by daylight because no shutter and noise at 7h, in short for a Belambra at the higher rate of the other competing club I do not recommend

We came as a family with our 1 1/2 year old granddaughter in September and we were a little scared because of the many negative reviews we had read. But we were pleasantly surprised!!

In terms of the location of the hotel, we couldn't do better. We are next to Lake Sainte Croix and close to others. There is also ample parking and we were able to park close to the site.

The view overlooks one of the lakes and is really beautiful.

The rooms are not very new but that does not prevent them from being clean and cleaned when we arrived.

The staff is very welcoming/listening/kind and the director was always helping due to a lack of staff (in general).

The entertainment was also great although we didn't come for that but rather to visit the Verdon region.

The food was not gourmet but always varied, the dishes were good and there was never a lack of anything. We heard people complaining about the lack of a certain dish, but if they had waited 5 minutes, the dish in question was already there again...

This is not a hotel for people who want absolute cleanliness in the middle of nature, or small meals brought to the room. On the other hand, if you like nature, simple things and you are not picky, this hotel will delight you: good atmosphere, good food, beautiful region.

Ps: the lavender honey sold on the site is exquisite. We regret not having bought more jars :)

We were for the first time in a Belambra club and clubs we did were Pierre et Vacances club, Maeva and Eldorador club. What can we say about the Belambra Montpezat Club, honestly the most is its location, frankly very well located. A good point to Atem the Sports coach and Philippe for the hike, thanks to them. Common to do L Esparron de Verdon and Baudinard Sur Verdon without forgetting Ste Croix my favorite, the region is really beautiful you have to have a car. My praise will stop there. Planes taken with premium half-board. The club needs a very big refresh, outdated equipment, our premium room just a fridge, dirty, the dirty bathroom with pieces of glass and cotton on the floor the cleaning was done in a hurry, the bedding uncomfortable . Better maintenance would be welcome. The cantina for help reimburse me the first evening dirty glasses with traces of wine and lipstick the plates traces of oil must buy a dishwasher, the chairs and tables bird droppings, the dishes just inedible the chef must not have had its BEP kitchen it's not possible we have to guess what we're eating low-end product the first evening my daughter didn't want to sit down and didn't eat and the second evening the same so bye bye half board we ate at Ste Cross restaurant le Comptoir I mention it because it really is worth doing. I am very disappointed, I have to change Suppliers and Chef, it's not possible to offer this kind of non-existent fruit dish, vegetables that flounder in I don't know what, even bacon for breakfast and scrambled eggs, uh no, mashed eggs. Retrain the housekeeping staff, cleanliness matters, it's a real shame because the site is very beautiful.

We spent a week mid-August. Reading the previous reviews, we were a bit scared for our stay... and we were rather pleasantly surprised. A new entertainment manager had recently arrived, offering regularly even a little improvised entertainment (zumba, afternoon walk...) and his young team was involved for both children and adults. However, it is true that the place deserves a little cooling and more particularly the installation of air conditioning or fan in the rooms, but this is breathable with the windows open.
The view of the lake is stunning on the main terrace.
The restaurant is varied with a little Trip Tip: it is better to dine early to avoid the world and ensure the presence of vegetables 😉. The restaurant teams are smiling and very efficient, congratulations to them!
With a few more sports proposals and some investments in the rooms, the site deserves 5 stars!

We stayed at Belambra Club Verdon for two nights in September just before the end of the season. It all started with online Booking Referral problems. Our credit card was not accepted and therefore the Booking Referral could not be completed. Then I called Belambra, but first I had a lady on the phone who spoke only French. I was promised a callback for the day, but it didn't come until the next day. In the meantime I had called again and another lady spoke English, but even with her Help center I could not complete the Booking Referral. I was promised that the Reservation would still apply and we could go to the club the next day. In the club, however, no one knew, but they helped us uncomplicated and gave us a room, the staff were very striving and very nice.
The accommodation was in need of renovation, the doors and windows have jammed and there was an unpleasant smell in the room when the windows were not open. Supposedly the pool should still be open and heated. However, it was no longer really usable because already 90 cm of water were let out of the pool, The food was okay for the price, however, there was only limited space inside the restaurant. The location is quite remote and the path to the lake wider and steeper than I thought. Maybe we would have liked it better in the summer?

The apartments and more generally all the facilities are seriously starting to become dated and could do with some updating.
It's a shame that part of the terrace was removed from the swimming pool, but it's still really nice.
The prices of the catering (snack) are high but the prices of the bar are exorbitant, much more expensive than a plush bar in town, which is a shame. 9.5€ for a pint of beer or cocktail or 3.5€ for a soda!
The refrigerators in the rooms cool down but don't make them cold.
Wifi is chargeable, which makes Belambra the only place in France where it is necessary to pay for a Wifi connection :/
Aside from these minor negatives, the rest is great. The food is very good (very varied, from breakfast to dinner, from starter to dessert), the staff is super friendly, the entertainment is good, although sometimes a little insufficient. The swimming pool and the "village" are clean and the geographical location is great.
We will probably come back!

Going with friends for 2 nights, this is the first time I have booked a full stay. It's a big scam. I paid €37 more per person for full board for 2 nights and I only had a lunch meal. I was refused a meal on the last day. It's expensive for a lunch meal, especially since lunchtime meals are very light. At this point I would have eaten in a very good restaurant. So for two nights paid for Full Board we are getting ripped off. At Sowell Holidays you are entitled to the last meal. That said, it’s a very good club, I’ve been coming there for a long time. The breakfast and dinner are very good, the magnificent location, the great swimming pool and the friendly staff. But hey, €37 extra for a single lunch, no, that's not normal. Never take full board
