This is no longer a Hot Springs! Something has changed, and now the water is around 97 degrees: nice for daytime soaking (on a warm day). They have to electrically heat the water for the two newest tubs (wonderful rock work) to only 104, which get crowded (and lots of beer drinking). The camping is delightful, but when we rented... The waterfall pool was lovely and not crowded. Top pools were heavily used. Be ready for a short steep climb to the top pools but the view was wonderful! All kinds of naked people walking around and so ubiquitous that it wasn't a problem at all. If you want to wear a swimsuit you'll feel fine doing that too.

Valley View Hot Springs has become Orient Land Trust, a nature preserve supported by camping fees. There are several pools of natural hot water for soaking and partying. Clothing optional on the grounds and in the pools. Community kitchen facilities. Sauna. Rooms for rent. deer wandering about among the campers. A joyous restful Colorado vacation.

The first time you visit you are overwhelmed by the rustic environment, beautiful scenery, and the healthy nudity. I traveled solo this time, my wife and kids did not attend. The relaxation and time alone was great. I met so many interesting people, young and old. It was good to see young college age kids embarrassing the culture and open... More

If you want to be able to relax in natural hot springs nude this is the place for you. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Everyone we encountered was super nice. It was our first time to a clothing optional - naturist place and it was not weird or uncomfortable at all. Did the bat cave tour ( awesome... More

Stayed for 4 nights in the Aspen cabin. The accommodations were rustic but adequate. A double bed with a night stand, small refrigerator and a small table and chairs. It had a large community kitchen where everyone gathered to cook and eat. The main draw were the hot springs and the view. We enjoyed soaking in the hot springs. There... More

I've been there twice, once solo and once with former girlfriend who was new to naturism. The setting is pretty spectacular. We were actually there in 2008 or so. We enjoyed hiking and photography in the area and at the bat cave. The only thing we didn't like was one indoor shared toilet facility. Hopefully they've changed the policy about... More

If you want to see natural hot springs at a great price ($15 per person), this is the place. There is one large rectangular pool, but the rest of the pools are small enclosures where the springs naturally bubble up from the mountain side. Currently, there is a limit of 35 day visitors and 105 overnighters, for a max capacity... More

Though the hot springs are the main attraction, this is foremost a nature preserve, that encompassing the valley and mountains on 2000 acres.Take the time to look around and you will find wildlife and stunning vistas beyond the pools. One of the best places I have found In Colorado to photograph wildlife particularly birds. The helpful staff with guide you... More

Quiet, peaceful location with friendly people. Good layout with multiple unique ponds at different temperatures. Nice step up if you need to cook. The price is little steep even for walk-in tent camping. Stay a night, stay a week, there's something for everyone. Check out the bat cave in the summertime.
