Smallish older motel style rooms with microwaves, mini fridge and tv's. Free cowboy coffee in the morning and chats with owner George. Has a nice pool, easy access to Manitou Springs. Very reasonable price for the accommodations. I would recommend if you aren't too picky on how soft your mattress is.

Thank you very much for your stay. I try very hard to please our guests. My Grand Patents built our motel in 1947 and many people come back year after year for a step back in time. Our housekeeping people have worked here for a number of years. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and Manitou Springs. More

My family is looking forward to returning here next summer. The owner was such a nice guy. My kids loved seeing the deer walk right outside our unit. We stayed in both a regular room and a large room. I definitely preferred the large room; it was cleaner, and the beds were comfy. The shower in the regular room was... More

I honestly cried as I pulled out of the parking lot after our 5 night stay, I didn't want to leave. This was perfect for my husband and I and two girls. Just what I was hoping for. Cute and comfortable! We felt very safe and relaxed. Cowboy coffee was great! The pool was nice and clean with a beautiful... More

My son and I spent 2 days in Manitou Springs and needed a place to stay that was central to town and the Cave of the Winds. Please keep in mind that this is a Motel not the Comfort Inn. So if you are looking for a place that has new furnishings and an updated bathroom, this is not the... More

I stayed in this very motel 22 years ago with my family when I was in high school. They just happened to have vacancy and we booked, while in Manitou this July. We told the owner that I had stayed here 22 years ago and you could tell he was excited to hear that. 22 years ago our room had... More

Glad you enjoyed your stay again. Sorry about the fitted sheet, we have 2 different types and the housekeeper apparently used the wrong size. We try our very best. The AC was replaced with a new unit. If something is broke I fix it. Manitou Springs is a wonderful place to visit with many attractions and very safe. Thank you... More

As others have said, if you're looking for a fancy hotel chain, this is not the place. However, if you are a family of 6 traveling on a budget and you're more interested in the experience, the Dillon Motel is awesome. We stayed in one of the newer large rooms. It was a good size for our family of 6.... More

This is a funky little cottage-style motel that the owner's grandparents built in the 40s. It's really cute, but honestly it could've been cleaner--a little dusty in the corners. (It didn't bother me but my partner was a little put off). Beds were a bit squishy. Fine for a night, very convenient to both Pike's Peak and center of town.... More

A unique experience & unique place! Loved waking up early & going outside for some great coffee & seeing the deer! George feeds them & it was awesome to see them! The view of Pikes Peak from the doorway to our room was amazing! We were there for 2 nights in September.

Traveling on a budget and this fit the bill perfectly. The Dillon Motel has a lot of character, is in a marvelously central location and Mr. James is a great host.
