The rooms are delightfully fanciful as well as comfortable. They are honest about the thin walls, providing both ear plugs and property quiet hours from 10-8. Cocktails and coffee available on premises, what more could you ask for on top of a prime location for accessing downtown Mancos and all of the beauty around?!?

This is a comfortable, clean and "cool" accommodation that provides everything you need. It is walkable to every place in Mancos so you can easily access the town. This motel has most everything you need with coffee and bar on the premises and also provides games, patios and firepit. It is so close, at 9 minutes (7.8 miles) by car, to the Mesa Verde National Park. The owners are very nice, hospitable and pay attention to detail. This renovated motel has what visitors need, provided with a bit of whimsy and artistry - check out the pictures that others have already provided.

Distinctive alternative to the generic chain motels with unique stylish decor and up to date bath fixtures. Not much of a view but makes up for that with a central location in a historic mountain town with a core neighborhood that includes some great dining options like Columbine Grill. An organic natural grocery and foods place called Zuma is a block away. All in all Mesa Verde motel is great location and great value - recommend it highly.

Stayed with my wife Sue two nights for the 5th annual Mancos BurroFest.
The Mesa Verde Motel was a wonderful experience. Clean and comfortable, the recent renovation was extremely well done and really complements the whole vibe of the community. The M Bar & Coffee (onsite) has wonderful cocktails that are pricey but well worth it. I had a decent latte at the coffee bar but a local nearby shop Fahrenheit Coffee Roasters is also an excellent choice.
The best part of the stay was conversation with two of the owners Sally and Matt. Sally had a vision for the Motel and has succeeded in realizing that vision. Matt who did much of the work on the motel did an excellent job on the renovations and they are both just genuinely nice people and even uplifting to talk to! (a rare experience)

Wonderful, clean, pet friendly motel. All newly renovated, very comfy beds, the room includes everything you would need like a microwave, mini fridge (with beverages for purchase), soap, lotion, small table to sit at. The owners go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. We have stayed here twice in the past year, and would encourage everyone to do the same if in the area. There is even a park nearby for your dogs to run around and stretch their legs. It is close to Durango, but much more affordable. I wish more motels would follow the example of Mesa Verde Motel.

Superb modern motel with lots of character - we are travelling around Colorado from UK for 10 days and this was a refreshing break from large chain hotels. Very clean, great facilities, friendly staff and quick check in/out. Plenty of good places to eat nearby. Parking right outside each room also very useful. Some have mentioned noise but we thought it was very quiet. Almost no road noise at all during the night and we didn’t hear neighbouring rooms.

My wife and I stayed here for the second time just last weekend and once again, were treated like Rock Stars. This time we attended an event just outside of town and needed a place to stay after the event and for the remainder of the weekend. Matt and Sally were pleasant and accommodating as they worked very hard to meet the requests of other guests and turn around the rooms for new arrivals. We stayed very warm and cozy in the room while we waited to connect with friends. Book early because the word is out - This is the place to stay if you are doing anything in the four corners area! Can't wait to come back again later this year!

Clean & uniquely designed style. Very original. Hostess/Co-Owner was very kind and welcoming. Bartender was nice too! Pride in Ownership here as they have quality and attention to detail. (Unique refrig, microwave, quality instant coffee in rooms, dispensers, etc.) All well done. We'll be back! Thanks, Sally!!!

My family traveled for 10 days staying in different hotels nightly and this little motel was by far my favorite! We booked two rooms. The rooms are all decorated a little different and the attention to detail is spot on. There’s a “room 13” that is decked out in wild decor! You really have to see it. Pictures don’t do it justice! The lady running this place is so nice and accommodating. I highly suggest a stay if you’re in the area!

My wife and I stayed here last night, and were very pleased with the room. Everything looks new. The bed was very comfortable, the water pressure was good, and the room was clean and looked great. They have an ice machine and a vending machine, and even have various waters and sodas in the mini fridge that you can purchase. The room also has a microwave. The clerk who checked us in and out was very friendly, and they now have a coffee bar (which we were not able to check out, as we had to get on the road. We would definitely stay here again.
