We are a family oriented RV park with options for everyone. We offer cabins, tent sites and RV sites, both water and electric and full hook-up. We have the Boot Hill Barn that is perfect for all kinds of events. There is a heated pool and hot tub that is open Memorial Day until it gets too cold. We also have an 18 hole miniature golf course with fun for everyone. There is an activities cabin with pool, foos-ball, video games, TV, etc. Horseback riding is conveniently available right next door. We open March 15 and close October 31 every year. There are so many places to visit in the area and the sunsets are beautiful. We are a dark park and the star gazing is amazing. Please come share our park with us!

We chose this park for the location. It’s nice, it’s quiet. I didn’t use any of the shared spaces but they looked ok. The negative was the horrible sewer gases. It could have been the neighbors or something just emanating from underground.

We stayed at this RV park one night because the road was closed due to wildfire. This is a very nice RV park. Management was very accommodating and worked with us quickly to get us a site. It’s seem to be a great place for families and we loved the off leash dog area. Great place to stay if you plan to see Mesa Verde. Right across the highway from the entrance.

I was almost homeless with my RV during the pandemic until I found this place. I work seasonal jobs and wasn't able to move into my seasonal spot since it was not open yet. I found this spot right across the street from the Mesa Verde National Park. They spaced out the campers for social distancing. Lots of birds in the area right now. I've had deer walk by in the early morning. Nice amenities, but I've not pushed to use a lot of them. We mostly use the dog park. They do a good job keeping the place clean.

The best thing about the park are the staff. Every single person was friendly, helpful and kind. We had a beautiful spot in the trees with an amazing view. We enjoyed the large hot tub in the cool evenings and the showers were spotless and awesome. There is a log cabin with a pool table that we used a couple of times. It was so cutely decorated too. We used this as our base camp to go to Durango, Canyon of the Ancients and Hovenweep. It was convenient, affordable and we will definitely stay here on our next trip to Colorado.

Our visit to the park was a highlight of our cross country trip. It was comfortable, convenient and overall just a pleasant place to enjoy nature for a few days. My wife and I were at Ancient Cedars last month and really enjoyed ourselves. The grounds are spacious and well furnished. The showers were roomy with stall walls extending out several feet to create a private dressing area outside the shower. For us, wifi was sufficient. It's about what we get at most hotels. We usually download tv shows and movies to our devices so we're not streaming movies in the middle of our trip. There are horses on the adjacent lot where they offer horseback rides. They are far away from any of the sites. We didn't notice any smell coming from the horses. The park is really peaceful with lots to do; pool, putt putt, swimming, hot tub. We really enjoyed ourselves and will back for sure.
