First, we had a bit of trouble finding Ms. Kitty's place! The inn recently changed ownership and names so the name on the sign different. The room was clean and adequate but small and dated. Ms. Kitty is very friendly, helpful and aims to please. The air conditioner took hours to adequately cool our room.

We had a wonderful night's stay at this charming country themed motel. Clean and comfortable double room. Had a refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker. Coffee was very good! The hosts were wonderful! Told us nice places to eat dinner and breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer.

There was a hot-air balloon event in town and we were lucky to get a room. The Lizard Lair room has a queen bed and a bunk bed that has a double bed on the bottom. The room also has a mini-kitchen, but we only needed the refrigerator. Bathroom was small, but adequate. We liked parking right in front of... More

We stayed here for one night on our way to Bluff. We had a Queen Room the bed was very comfortable and it was good to be able to sleep without the AC on, I opened the bathroom window and left the bathroom door open to let the night air in, just as well because this room was very small... More

For a problem with the car we arrived very very late at the check in, but we have been greeted kindly. The room (cabin) was huge and everything was clean. The bathroom has a great shower. We recommend Country West Motel to everybody. We are traveling in two couples and one couple is in honeymoon.

My family of four stayed here for one night on our 10 day road trip. My husband was a bit skeptical when I had showed him where I had booked us for our stay after a day at Mesa Verde as he is somewhat of a "luxury" guy, but he was pleasantly surprised! We booked the family room that had... More

From Page, Arizona via Monument Valley to Mancos, Colorado is quite the drive....exhausted when we got to this cute older motel, only to find they had been trying to reach us to say we didn't have a room due to overbooking. We seemed to have no choice except to drive on to Durango or back to Cortez! However, the manager... More

We stayed here before visiting Mesa Verde and it was a good deal. We got the family room with a kitchen, a queen bed, and bunk beds (bottom is full size bed; top is twin) and it worked out great for us and our 4 kids. (One kid in top bunk, 2 boys on large bottom bunk, and baby with... More

On our road trip we try to patronize local businesses and enjoy retro motels. But this one had too man drawbacks to recommend. First, the bed was very uncomfortable for 2 people: my husband slept in the trough while I clung to the edge, trying not to fall into him. Like an "I Love Lucy" episode. Second, the road noise... This is exactly the motel you stayed in when you were 12 years old on a family vacation in the station wagon. Dad decided to save a little money on motels so you could have an extra day at Disneyland, and every evening on the road you pulled in to this smallish, clean, cozy little place in a teeny town...
