Really a pleasure staying there. We had some trouble finding the place in the dark, but once we got inside we were so glad we were there instead of some motel. In addition to wonderful rooms with beautiful views of the mountains, the owners have some very friendly cats and dogs who made for great company. The owners, Sue and...

We rented the private, 2-story cabin for our stay, which was perfect for my husband and I and our 18-year old son. It has a small kitchen, so the boys could cook up any little snacks they wanted. We spent a day traveling to Mesa Verde, and the B&B was a perfect place to stay for this because the commute...

We had a fabulous stay at Sundance Bear as part of our honeymoon in Autumn 2010. Bob and Sue were the most fantastic hosts - knowledgeable, super friendly and great company. Breakfasts were wonderful and their suggestions of things to do and places to go were perfect. The lodge is very homely and comfortable and is a perfect base for...

We stay in B & B’s whenever we travel and my husband and I both agree that the Sundance Bear Lodge is the best we have ever stayed in. The rooms are so comfortable, the baths are supplied with every imaginable item you might need (sun screen, bug repellent, besides the usual), the breakfasts are delicious and enough to get...

This hilltop retreat has sumptuous breakfasts, gracious, knowledgeable hosts, comfortable rooms along with two cabins and a welcoming crew of dogs and cats. It is a convenient base for visits to Mesa Verde National Park and Hovenweep National Monument. I've been traveling around the rural west for 20 years and have rarely found places to stay as nice as this...

We stayed in the main lodge which was very spacious and comfortable. The setting inside and out was a very pleasing and a tasteful immersion of the southwestern/western decor and information. The lodge and surroundings were quiet and very relaxing. The owners, Susan and Bob, were very friendly, good company, accommodating, and always available. A 3-ring notebook in our room...

Our family spent 3 nights in the 2-story Log Cabin. It is charmingly decorated with two bedrooms (one a loft with a full bed, sofa and TV), a kitchen area, small living area and bathroom. The cabin also has 3 porches. The back porch has the added bonus of a hummingbird feeder and greedy hummingbirds which are fascinating to watch....
