Found the Sundance Bear on line. Booked a month in advance. Easily done. We arrived by car from Santa Fe and were greeted at door by the owner Bob. He is very knowledgeable about all the Indian ruins in the area. Gave us great advice on going to Mesa Verde which is close by. The room was great. They leave... More

The log cabin is your own little rustic home with views of Mesa Verde, La Plata Mountains and Sleeping Ute Mountain where you can enjoy great sundowns from every side of your own home. You can enjoy some hiking from your doorstep and whatveer you find long your trail will be added to the vitrine under the glass table cover... More

Thanks for the rave review! In 2017 the cabin will be available for multi-night stays of 3 or more nights, so we hope guests will begin planning those vacations. The log cabin is optimal for 2 guests but can suit up to 4; self cater in 2017. There's lots more to see and do -- beyond Mesa Verde -- in... More

Want a very nice, quiet, homey, place with views and just far enough away from a town that a 15 minute drive puts you in touch with any needs? This B&B does the trick. The hosts . Bob & Sue, are very friendly and look after your every need. Their lodge is very clean, nicely decorated and provides a great... More

This gorgeous cabin was so cosy and well provisioned that I could easily have lived there. There is a mezzanine bedroom with a couch and its own balcony, whilst the bottom level has a bedroom, a stone bathroom that was so unique and a kitchen/dining area. Everything you could possibly want was provided, even robes and warm clothes if you... More

The place is in the middle of farms, is quiet but with easy access to Mancos, Mesa Verde and other sites of interest. Horse lovers will be in their element. Warm welcome, quiet nights and great breakfast!

Great location - out in the country, wonderful view. The room was adequate, but a little small. Two of us were packed in tightly. Common room was beautiful and breakfast was wonderful. Owner was very friendly and provided excellent information on the area. We would go back.

Thanks for your honest opinion of our facility and services. The Mancos room (queen bed $154) is the smaller of our 2 lodge rooms; we try to make a point that the great room is available as the guests' living room with a variety of places to relax, read, watch TV etc. WIFI available everywhere. The alternate lodge room called... More

Bob and Sue were amazing hosts, if you are looking for accommodation in the area to visit the Mesa Verda look no further, clean comfortable and great cooked breakfasts and when you have been on the road for a while this is a delight to have in the mornings instead of continental breakfast. Also enjoyed that every guest sat around... More

We stayed in the fantastic cabin with 2 bedrooms, which is located in a lovely big garden with a pond. Our host Bob was very nice and helpful. The inventory is great, all necessary dishes and even coffee and tea for breakfast in the morning. The cabin is only about 10 miles from Mesa Verde National Park and provides an... More

We visited Mesa Verde and stayed with Sue & Bobb for two nights. We had the log cabin and we enjoyed the place a lot. The hospitality of Sue and Bob is just amazing & the homemade breakfast just delicious. If you want to know something about the region or further activities just ask them, they are more than happy...
