I chose the lodge for our wedding because it was a gorgeous venue. We booked over 9 months in advance. Communication with Ashley is impossible she doesn't return calls or emails. She changed our end time 6 weeks out and never presented us with a new contract or a partial refund. She never provided us a walk through. I left her seven voicemails Monday and seven Tuesday before the wedding on Friday and emailed her also. The communication got so bad my dad went up there and they didnt answer the door. She was a ghost the week of the wedding, the day of the ceremony. Ashley is unprofessional and impossible to work with.

You will NOT get a cabin, these are FALSELY ADVERTISED, you will get a room in an older strip hotel. There is no cell service there. My room had NO REMOTE, the phone didn't work, my cell didn't work - your's won't either, no/partial internet, and there is no desk clerk to complain to about not having a remote. If you like sitting in your room alone with nothing to do, well this is the place for you.
I was in Estes Park for the Rocky Mountain Half Marathon and 5k. Wanted to stay near Estes Park as it was a weekend event. However, then I went to the Stone Mountain Lodge after finishing my 5k on Friday evening I discovered there was no power, no water, and no staff at the office to check in. I called the number listed and the manager told me the power had been out for hours and there was nothing he could do. He could have called and informed his guest there was no power and offered a refund. However, he just said there was nothing he could do. He offered nothing to make it right. Needless to say, I checked out and found another hotel
I stayed at the Stone Mountain Lodge for 6 months and was super pleased with my stay. I stayed in multiple rooms while there and have to say cabin 21 was the coolest. The scenery was amazing. Less than 2 miles to town. 20 miles to both Boulder and Estes Park. 8 miles to Longmont. Cant beat the location! The staff was amazing, very helpful. I miss this place!
