We hosted an "outside the box" two day company management retreat at WeeCasa. It was perfect for our group. The meeting space was very comfortable and our staff absolutely loved staying in the tiny homes. The WeeCasa staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating. We'll be back for sure!
Had a wonderful and productive work retreat at Wee Casa. The Big Easy was a great place to rest after the training. My coworkers and I all had fun together and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for the fun times Wee Casa!
My family & I were just at Wee Casa in October 2022 for a family wedding. I am writting this review to say thank you so much to all the staff at Wee Casa for a memorable wedding experience. I would like to give a big shout out to Kristen the reciptionist who was amazing. Her smile, and atttiude really set the tone for the amazing weekend. She was so helpful, kind & friendly. I highly recommended this magical place, it looks like a real life fairtytale. Thank you so much!
Stayed at Aura tiny home and it was amazing! Full kitchen, plenty of room for our family of 6 to sleep and enjoy, but still with all the fun of a tiny home, such as a rotating TV, clever storage, loft. Check in and check out was seamless. Quick walk to food and coffee. Beautiful grounds.
I hesitate to write a public review about this amazing place, because it has become my favorite getaway retreat space, and would like it to be one of Lyons' best-kept secrets. I love the beautiful location right by the St Vrain River, it's never felt tourist-y, loud, commercial or overrun. Yesterday 3 deer visited me by the river. I've been coming here for a few years and have probably stayed in 7 different Wee Casas at different times; they have all been comfortable, very clean, unique and private. Each home is different and some are slightly "bigger" than others. All have just the right amenities. the staff is responsive and friendly, and during this pandemic check in and out is completely contact-less. I just love coming here- medicine for my soul.
We loved our two nights at The Gnome Home. I would've given this review 5 stars but check-out time is 10 a.m. and guests are asked to do their dishes, gather all linens and place in the shower, and take all their trash to the dumpster before check-out. This is all fine aside from the fact that it makes for an early and rushed departure which isn't how I prefer to end a trip. While I understand the need for the early check-out, I think changing the four-hour window between check-outs and check-ins to noon to 4 p.m. would be much better for everyone.
Perfect for a couples vacation. We had a smaller tiny house and it was super clean and comfortable. The setting is amazing right on St. Vrain creek! I would get up in the morning and fly fish for an hour before starting the day. Evenings were capped off by the fire pits. Literally a couple hundred yards from downtown Lyons so it made for easy access to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!
We came for the the very cute Gnome House, but enjoyed the location as well. They have a beautiful spot on the Vrain River. There are free fire pits and we enjoyed making smores in the evening. There are lots of cute tiny homes there, but we loved the Gnome House with it's round doors and windows. The loft bed was comfortable, the pull-out bed less so, but our daughter managed. Might be best for a couple or a couple with small children. Air conditioning worked beautifully, even on a hot day.
We stayed at WeeCasa when attending a wedding at The Riverbend which is adjacent to the property. WeeCasa is clean, air conditioned, well-appointed, and within walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants in Lyons. It is nestled in the red rocks along the St. Vrain River so it is quite scenic. The grounds were quiet and the locale allowed for relaxation in nature. We had young children with us and could walk to a local park with an impressive playground, trails, and tubing rental. Dressing for the wedding in a tiny house was do-able (I suggest putting an extra mirror outside of the bathroom so 2 people can get ready at the same time.) Overall, a delightful experience!
First of all, the idea of this is awesome and the whole resort was nice and clean. Unfortunately the original reservation the tiny house had not hot or warm water for a shower. It was cute but for it to sleep 4 was almost to small. Anyway we wouldn't have requested a new house. By the way we here for my daughters wedding, so showers are important. The staff were awesome and accommodated us by putting us in a second house. This one had more room and hot water, but AC didn't work and ceiling fan didn't work...its 90 plus degrees out and it was extremely hot inside. Called the office to see if they could fix the fan while we were at rehearsal dinner, came back to 3 mini fans placed throughout the house...thank you but if your going to charge almost $200 a night and have to stay a minimum of 2 nights then at least make sure everything is functional.…
