This hotel used to be one of the nice ones. Between billing errors, poorly stocked supplies and a filthy swimming pool it doesn't even qualify as decent now. We spoke to the staff about each of the problems but nothing changed.
Thanks to the friendly staff, especially Craig and Kristen at the front desk. This property is the closet lodging to access Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park. Property is about 10 years old but is newly redecorated and the rooms all have new furnishings, carpet and linens! King size bed mattress was super comfortable (very important to me as I have had two back surgeries and a hip replacement!) This place is extremley well cared for. The have a snack bar that you can purchase snacks and beverages, so you do not have to leave the property. Complimentary breakfast with the expected items (bagels, toast, waffles, yougurt, muffins, mini donuts) Weekdays had scrambled eggs & link sausage and weekends had eggs/sausage/biscuts & gravy and french toast sticks. Adjacent restaurant has a brewery and serves excellent BBQ.. Coming from Kansas City I can be a real BBQ snob, and their BBQ is excellent (Friday night featured smoked Prime Rib!!!) This is a great property, ignore the negative reviews left by the Karens of the internet!!! Competitive price, clean and comfortable! Rooms that face the west have a great view of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountain Range.…
The first time we visited here this hotel was nearly brand new. It was one of the nicest we had ever encountered. The personnel are so friendly and courteous! When we had an issue with the AC, we were immediately moved to another room. Even though housekeeping was not doing daily cleaning of our room (which was fine with us!), they asked if we needed anything (towels, etc.). Our only concern is that there are areas of this hotel which, if not maintained now, will begin to look quite run down. Our bathroom had chips out of the tub, a knob was missing on our closet, carpets needed a good cleaning throughout. It is still a nice place to stay. But we hope that the money will be spent to keep it up to the standards that it has been in the past.
We stayed while floors being refinished at the house. Toiletries are so small as to be unusable, and when AC came on a lot of buzzing and noise woke us up. Breakfast needs to be a lot hotter than it was. Otherwise it was fine.
Very nice motel. Good location. Best motel I stayed in on my trip. Easy to access Rocky Mountin National Park. Came through the park from the west. Motel is close to restaurants and gas stations. Would stay there again.
The air did not work. There was a big lag in changing of rooms. No dolly to transport luggage to another floor. Room was hotter than outside. No help was offered to help with changing rooms. Staff didn't seem keen on checking you in or out.
Clean and comfortable rooms, great location off of US 34 on Lovelands west side. Close to golf course and BBQ restaurant and brew pub. Family room was spacious and clean. Tables were large and had an outdoor patio.
Do not stay here ever! Broken AC unit, clogged tub, TV didn’t work, lights not working properly, dirty clothes found from previous guest and dirty sheets. In addition the appearance of the overall cleanliness was pretty bad. The hallway carpet was pretty disgusting and badly stained.
We were on our 2 week road trip and called Wyndham reservations line. We wanted a hotel close to Rocky Mountain National Park. The rep found this LA Quinta in Loveland,CO and it couldn't have been more perfect. It's a newer hotel and from the front desk to the continental breakfast everything was wonderful. Our room was great.
After looking up hotels in Loveland, and being a Wyndham Rewards member, I found La Quinta Inn and Suites. I called the hotel and made a reservation for my nephew's wedding for myself, my husband and my daughter for two nights. After speaking with family members, we decided to stay an extra day and travel back home a day later. So, I made another reservation for the extra day through the Wyndham Rewards website. Well, we ended up arriving a DAY earlier than planned, got to make ANOTHER reservation for THAT day, and tried to cancel the later date. Unfortunately when I tried to cancel the later date I found out it was non-cancellable. Manager Lisa Plunkett at La Quinta was able to help us out and get that reservation cancelled. I must commend her and her staff for being SO accommodating to me and my family during our stay. Lisa not only was able to get our extra day reservation cancelled, she was also able to keep us in the same room for all three days of our stay and not have to move into a different room for the second reservation . Going above and beyond is what made our stay that much more enjoyable.....and of course the wedding was wonderful as well!! Thank you, Lisa, for your EXCELLENT SERVICE! Susan Sacino and Family…
