We love these RV lots to camp. They are not jammed together and very nice, clean and good views. Came last year also and will plan again next year. Nice bike trails around the lake. Most of the trails are paved and have views of the lake. It is quiet and we feel very secure.

We stayed in site #62 for 5 nights with a tent The campsites are fairly close together, but they were arranged so we still felt like we had our own space. We had fun watching the rabbits run around every morning and even had a deer in our camp one night. The bathrooms were clean and it was nice to...

Perfect spot for camping! A lot of pet friendly trails for dog walks. We went to a concert at Red Rocks amphitheater so the location was also perfect. Very family friendly campground. The Rangers were very helpful and friendly, along with the grounds keepers. Make sure you get a Full hook up if you need water, electric, and sewer. Otherwise,...

We stayed at Chatfield while visiting Denver after selling or Denver home. We had full hookups for our 27 ft travel trailer and the campground is very nice and well maintained. You really need to make sure you have the bigger spots written the trailer. We had one that was on the smaller side and we had a hard time...

This is a great campground! Chatfield State Park has many things to do, from boating to balloon rides! We had a full hook-up campsite - number 167. It was perfect! Nice view of the mountains and not the neighbors! Chatfield even has Wi-Fi, which was a nice surprise. Great way to be close to Denver, but not feel like it.

We took our travel trailer to Chatfield State Park and had a very pleasant experience. THe camp ground and the facilities were clean and well maintained. Although I did not catch any fish, it was a nice relaxing time.

Gorgeous views, clean park, level lots, tons of things to do...hiking, biking, extremely pet friendly, great playground for kids... Only negatives, full hookup water was not on yet for the season and they charged to use the showers, which would have been okay had there been hot water. We paid for a cold shower.

Chatfield offers many things including airstrip for remote planes, but our favorite is the dog park. It is off leash has two ponds for swimming, and lots of hiking trails. The park is 10 $ and worth every penny.

Camped here mid-July for 1 night - going to concert at Red Rocks (15-20 minute drive away...) VERY clean park... Campground has paved, level sites. Some have full hook-ups. Had picnic table, fire pit with BBQ grill attached. Area under burn ban - so double check site for info before using it. Separate tent pad. Very little shade (if any)...
