We stayed on the 3rd floor, Lots of steep stairs but worth the view. Directly across the street from a dispensary and a brewery, so it was nice to be able to walk back after drinking a few beers. Very walkable area, coffee shops, bars and cafes very close by. Worth the money to stay in the highest elevated hotel... More

Awesome stay at the Delaware! We were there for only one night but it was so much fun. The furniture and decorations were antique and added to the whole experience of staying in a historic hotel. Since it is an older hotel - it does not have a microwave, coffeepot, or fridge in the room - so be prepared or... More

You need to be able to carry your bags up steep stairs at 10,000 ft. to stay here. It's quirky & stuffed with antiques. But it's a charming step back in time. The bed was good. We slept well. It was quiet. Cody was kind & helpful. I'd suggest they go all out and offer bread to go with the... More

We stayed here two nights while exploring Leadville. Cody, at the front desk was super helpful, offered recommendations for restaurants and several hikes to do in the area. The majority of restaurants and shops in the town are walking distance from the hotel. Trail heads to hikes were a short drive. Room was cute, all old time antique furniture. Only... More

I stayed in room 206 overlooking a busy street. There are lots of bars and restaurants with in walking distance. By 10 PM all was quiet, I could have been in a remote villa. They offered free coffee in the afternoon and a sizeable free breakfast. The room was huge, with a king size ben and a twin. A great... More

We didn't stay here, but the lobby and store have some really neat stuff to buy. The lobbie is quite a display of collectables and has an old sign froth original hotel. Very neat! The people are very friendly and helpful with area facts and points interest to see.

This hotel feels like it was taken straight out of an episode of the Twilight Zone, or worse. It is packed to the brim with antique furniture, and antique wedding dresses displayed in the hallways outside customer bedrooms. There was no functioning heat, instead they relied on space heaters that didn't produce enough heat for one, let alone two people.... More

The hotel is a throwback to the early 1900's. Located in a historic mining community, you will be amazed. The bottom floor is an antique store and the hotel is furnished with antiques, all of which are for sale. The hotel is a destination. Enjoy.

The hotel is packed with beautiful antiques. Our room was small but comfortable and allows pets. Our room wouldn't have been good for a young family. Lots of things that could be broken our pulled over. The walls are a little thin, but of course that is the way it was built in 1886. We did have our own restroom... More

Awesome little place. Quite a few quirks. Remember...this place is OLD! But truly the only way to really experience Leadville. No complaints. Except we didn't get the haunted room. Take time to peer into the nooks and crannies instead, unless you've overindulged in the place across the street. Then that giant stuffed Santa Clause in the corner might be a... More
