This motel is the Low Rate King. I have stayed there three times in different years because the price can't be beat. If you're looking for affordable accomodations close to Vail or Copper Mountain and you need a warm, basic room with cable TV and Wi-Fi internet, check it out. Leadville is within an easy 30 minute drive of Vail... More

So it's late..... small mining town at the top of Colorado 10,100' in elevation, and I'm exhausted from driving all day. All the hotel and motels were booked but I called the Mountain Peaks and they had one room left. Thank goodness. Now I don't expect much but the price was right and I needed a bed. The only room... The Mountain Peaks is a classic roadside motel. All the doors face the road, with old-fashioned keys. My room was very clean, with a good-sized flat screen TV, plenty of hot water, towels, coffee maker, and fridge. The bathroom had been re-tiled recently and looked nice. The wifi was very strong. It is located on the main street, maybe a... More

Very Cheap. Very shabby. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The shower worked fine and there was plenty of hot water. the walls are very thin and I could hear the guy next door snoring all night.

Cheap. Clean. Some updates to floor, and bathroom. Flat screen TV. Room is really small and floor is uneven, no air just open a window its 40 degrees in July. Microwave refrigerator and coffee pot, but towels are too small to dry my hair. But for 45 dollars I am not complaining. Beats camping.

I saw things differently I guess. The room was one the cheapest price I've ever paid, and it was huge. I got the room right next to the office and it was like an apartment. Biggest bathroom ever and a big refrigerator and a stove. Real big bed too. Yes it's got some character, but I'm in a rural mountain... More

Ewww. We were desperate for a room and stopped here because it was the only place with a vacancy. We were a little put off by the looks of the hotel and the dirty office but really needed a room. After paying and going to our room, we immediately turned around and got a refund. I would have felt safer... More

This is a very basic and somewhat dated establishment. But everything worked well and the rooms were clean. Excellent location too close to bars and restaurants. We paid 108 dollars with tax for one single and one double room.

First of all the management is NEVER in the office even though the open sign is always on you have to call them on a phone (that sometimes works), wait (in the freezing cold), and then check in/out. Then we were directed to the "Apartment in the back". Great! We thought it would be nice for the $70 a night... More

I do not receive any complain from this costumer. The guest stay two nights at my motel .If you do not like the room you stay, why not take the refund and go to another place. Costumer can check the room before check in and can cancel the reservation if do not like the motel. More
