What a pleasure to stay at the Third Street Nest in Lamar, Colorado, where I rested up for two nights during a long road trip. It was more than comfortable, it was homey. The accommodations were spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and I slept...More

What a wonderful place to stay! Much better than a roadside Hotel. The owner, Jane, greeted us warmly and had every convenience available to us that we could imagine. The room was clean and comfortable and the full breakfast that she served us on Sunday...More

We were there on a weekday. The host, a very kind lady, works a daytime job. She leaves clear instructions on where breakfast is and what other things are that are available. The homemade items left were soooo delicious! Very much a "make yourself at home" feel. It sounded like weekend breakfasts are more elaborate since she is there. Maybe more hot items like eggs or casseroles.
