Thank you very much for hosting us. We enjoyed every minute of our staying. This is amazing and very beautiful place. Unusual interior makes this place very special. It's close to hot Springs, great location.

We arrived at the Hotel Eastin to an empty lobby. Phone number provided had a full voicemail box. Texts had not been returned. The whole place was open to the street so we walked inside… we looked around “hello? anyone here?” We found an open room and put our travel weary children to bed. About half an hour after we arrived- out of some back room popped an employee. Since no one was around - we chose the first open room, but now he wanted us to wake up our sleeping children and move to “our room.” Whole place was empty! He refused to accommodate and instead just up-charged us without my permission. Sadly I have to refute the charge. Room was nice enough. Very cute. Clean and comfortable. In the morning there was a nice urn of coffee… tasted 3 days old! Jeez! I really want to support small local businesses instead of air bnbs — but come on Hotel Eastin! Check your voicemails. Return calls and texts. Be on time! Have fresh coffee. These are small things to ask…

We stayed here overnight on our way to Rocky Mountain National Park. When we arrived, there was a pigeon hole cabinet with room keys and names written below the spot. We had only booked the room about an hour before we got there so we weren't real surprised that our name wasn't listed and no keys left for us. We called/texted the number that was posted and decided to go to dinner and check in after. When we got back, we hadn’t received any response and our keys still weren't there so we rang a bell and at that point someone came out to check us in and give us our keys. The attendant was very friendly and apologetic so not a huge deal. I believe that this place has been converted from an old boarding house. It was built around 1905. It's very quaint and decorated nicely. It has a common room that you can sit in if you choose. We stayed in the John Denver room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely decorated. However, it is a very small room and the private bathroom (some rooms have to share a bath) is tiny. We had to squeeze our way around in there. My husband is a bigger guy and he could barely move around in the shower. It's understandable since it was built over 100 years ago and had to be retrofitted. Also, the room doesn't have any A/C, it has a ceiling fan. None of this was terrible but just be aware of what you're getting. Also, the stairs and floors creak very loudly. No breakfast is included. We walked next door for dinner and it was really good. Overall not a bad stay but not the greatest either.…

What a great hotel! Treat yourself by doing something unique rather than staying at a chain hotel. Yes it is over 100 years old so it does not have large rooms or A/C but it makes up for it with the ambiance and the history. It was perfect as we were able to walk to 2 different breakfast spots, the restaurants and the brewery.

We did not have a pleasant stay for the following: The shower was out in our room! The room next door had a fully functioning bathroom and remained empty all night, as a host you should have switched us! There was no Roku controller in our room! You never returned our phone call with we called with issues! Where was the tea and popcorn when we arrived? Coffee in the am was a joke, the fridge was disgusting, the mugs looked dirty! Terrible customer service despite the note in our room “please call us if you need anything” PS the shower room down the hall had no locking doors! Will not return or recommend; considering a trip advisor report as it seems you are not willing to interact with guests at all! I did leave written feedback in the room and tried several e-mails to the host but all were rejected. It is an historic hotel but needs better management…

No contact Check in. Everything was ready for us when we arrived early which was nice. Decent old hotel rooms were made up nicely. No air conditioning. Ceiling fan could use a good dusting and the refrigerator in the common area was far from pleasant. The host appeared before me in the morning and did not acknowledge my presence or the morning greeting I offered.

Read the fine print. I did not realize this was a shared bathroom, and the bathroom itself was just ok, the shower looked like it was completed by a monkey throwing stucco on the wall. The toilet is something from the 50’s. I asked if I could have a fan since there was no AC in the room, I was told they did not have one, instead I was afforded the option of opening the windows which being in a basement meant that the smokers and people getting out of cars on main street would see right in, and you heard every car, every train through the night. The flooring is painted cement and there is a sticky substance that was in between the beds I had to move the rug and sleep in socks in case I had to get up for the shared bathroom. I shared this with management and no response, which is about what I expected.…

My wife and I stayed for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the rustic 'Ole' Cowboy feel.' The location was perfect for us to conveniently go hiking and sightseeing. We were within walking distance to restaurants. Despite limited options on TV, we didn't have to try hard to find other things to do. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The Refrigerator and microwave were a bonus for leftovers. We cannot say enough about the kindness and generosity of the people in

I will start with the good. It's in the middle of town a short walk from a brewery/distillery with fun townies working there. It was the cheapest actual hotel I could find online in the immediate area. The staff I did speak to were polite and understanding when I eventually got to ask for help with my issue. They also upgraded me to a suite on my second night for my troubles. For the bad: We paid extra to secure a room ($79 a night for two nights) that was listed as Room 106 with a queen bed. The afternoon before our journey here I called and spoke with staff who confirmed my hotel and associated amendties. They also informed me the check in was 24 hours and I could get my key from a cubby. We arrived at around 9PM due to I-70 having another road closure. The key provided was for room 108, which was a tiny room facing the sun with no air conditioning and a laughably small ceiling fan. The bed could barely be considered full sized. The receipt left with the key said Room 106-108, European queen... We had little success sleeping in temps well above 80 for most of the night. No staff onsite and calls to the provided number for assistance went to voicemail. The next day I sat in the lobby until a staff member arrived. I explained the situation and they upgraded us to a suite. The suite was on a better side of the building with a more comfortable, larger bed and a personal bathroom, as well as a fridge. I imagine this room would be closer to $100 on a regular night. I was pleased and considered the matter settled. However, in the suite the (much larger) ceiling fan didn't work. A personal fan was provided and it was just powerful enough to get the room cooled by around 10:30. The provided TV couldn't connect to the wi fi to play any shows. I appreciate the effort of the staff involved. The overall issue exists at a higher level.…

This great old hotel in Kremmling, Colorado was perfect for a road-trip stopover for the night, and would be great basecamp for fishing, backpacking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling etc. in the 'north park' area of Colorado. Clean, easy, very cool spot. Recommended for sure.
