The setting is second to none. Huge beer garden with plenty of seating, room for kids to run around without getting under everyone's feet, situated right across from the beautiful St Leonards Beach. You couldn't ask for better!! Or, could you? The whole place needs a bit of a revamp, a tidy up and a paint wouldn't go astray. The food however, wasn't bad. A little overpriced for what you get, but that's dining out these days. We had the chicken parma and flathead fillets. The fillets were delicious and the chicken parma an actual piece of chicken breast. Sadly, for the price you pay, chips and salad with the dish isn't great. The chips were tasty, salad (what can be said about salad leaves - blah). Please read the reviews owners of this once fantastic pub, and get someone into the kitchen to give a few lessons on food prep, get some vegies on the plates too. Not everyone enjoys salad leaves. Unlike other reviewers, I will eat here again. However, I will also expect something to be done to the menu. It's ok at the moment, but it needs to be updated. Fried food with chips and salad isn't enough.

I had the lamb and rosemary pie, unfortunately too much stuff that wasn't chewable was in it just like most pies, and my friend had the chicken parmi. My glass of prosecco went down well. The best part was dining outside on a lovely evening. It was ok.

Rooms were really comfy and a good size for our family of 4. Location was amazing, walk across the road and you're at the beach. Good, tasty pub food and when you're staying at a pub what more would you expect! Good range for kids (nuggets are important with young kids!) Helpful staff, great musicians playing but were quiet enough for kids to sleep. Small park across the road. Loved our stay!

This Hotel has one of the best locations on the Bellarine Peninsular right across the road from St Leonards beach and walking tracks. Fantastic location and lovely big beer garden, where your children can have plenty of room to run around and your dogs can come with you! BUT.... what a massive fail in the menu and food quality. If you desire anything deep fried with a bit of salad.... come here! The standard and quality of the food is dismal. There is absolutely nothing special about dining here. The place needs a huge make over and the kitchen staff (hate to think that there is an actual Chef in the kitchen) need to be trained or qualified. Come on guys - this place could be amazing.... You have so much competition around you - lift your game! Wound not eat here again.

Very nice meal, ordered the ricotta and spinach ravioli. It was freshly cooked and lovely flavour. They have live music and this was fantastic, great mix and very well performed. Well done Lukey , I'll be back
