Pulling up to the hotel it is quite old and dumpy looking on outside but it is budget priced and the room was great - sure a bit old but clean and comfy and in the middle of the hot summer it did have a window air conditioner which a lot of mountain accommodation does not have. The room also had a dining table and a microwave and fridge so that was good. Worked well for me for a one night stop on route to Denver.

The front desk staff was friendly and competent; bedding and mattress were perfect for us. The building and rooms, in general, are well worn but well kept. The Summit Stage bus stop is right out the door making Arapahoe Basin a very easy commute.

OK hotel if a little tired. Large rooms and comfortable beds ( pillows could be better quality , very hard) , lots of hot water. Simple breakfast with fresh fruit but you need to get a new coffee system - the coffee tastes burnt and like it has been sitting out for hours. Skiers need good quality coffee before hitting the slopes !!!! Please consider putting out a recycling bin for all the plastic that is used by your clients at breakfast. A number of guests were upset that there were no recycling bins.

its cheap, location good - walk to keystone lifts 10 mins , 10 mins drive to A basin. Two or three food options within short walk. Rooms at front face I 70 if traffic bothers you.

It's dated, grubby and un loved but adequate in a hostel type way. Most of the time no one around so forget any help with anything. If it was not for the local activities this place would be gone in a blink. we had a useful basic kitchen but I had to clean out cupboards then wash and buy utensils before I felt I could use anything. I threw a lot of food left in cupboards away, some of it dated 2012, 2010. It could be fantastic with good owners and a refurb- I notice the site is for sale at a mind boggling 20 million. Had a small package delivered and spent 4 days trying to get it from mail box as the only member of staff - did not know they had a deliverable address, could not contact owner manger, then could not get keys, sent me to downtown postal office who confirmed delivery, four days of that and a general lack of interest. I left without the package that I could see in mailbox. I have never had an email replied to You get the picture . Better than camping, plenty of hot water and bed was comfortable.

Plenty of businesses do lo cost well- not this one.

Prime location right across from slopes. Big shout out to Kamil for helping us in a pinch, we arrived around midnight after a long drive and he made check in a breeze. Upon arrival we called the number listed on the sheet at the front desk, as directed in the reservation and Kamil was out within a minute. Parking lot was very well lit and surveilled by numerous cameras. Booked a double queen room that accommodated the wife and daughters very well. Beds were clean and comfortable. The headboard even had outlets and a shelf for devices. Bathroom was clean and shower was hot. Layout was optimal for morning routines. Sink and mirror outside of bathroom made everything very efficient as one or two of the girls would be doing hair / makeup while another showers. Kept things moving and got us out of the room quicker than we usually are. LOL.

Not trying to completely disparage other peoples reviews or experience, but this is a quaint family owned lodge, not a 20 story hotel in LA. This is not the four seasons and I would not expect to be eating off the floor. This is a ski lodge. LOL. It seems as though previous reviews are coming from people horrified at the sight of clothing lint. I swear some people have never been outside… I am more than happy I booked with 3 Peaks and we will be returning for our annual trips. If you are coming to ski in Keystone this is the place for you.

A buddy and I recently stayed at this lodge for a snowboarding trip and had a great experience. Immediately when you walk in you’ll see beautiful decorations that fits in with the location. As for the room itself, it was impeccably clean and had all the amenities we needed to relax. Not to mention how welcoming it feels to be in the room, it’s simple and comfortable. Also a huge shoutout to one of the staff (Cam), he has positive energy and magnetic personality. We will be returning here in the future 100%!!!

This facility allowed people to party until 3:00
Am next door to us finally kicking them out around 3:15 AM after multiple calls to the desk. I have been asking for a refund for that night and the gentleman at the desk has told me it’s been processed and continues to ignore my calls. Yesterday he said it didn’t go through and he manually will process it. It’ll be there last night. Still nothing there multiple emails and phone calls have been sent and I continuously and told it’s handled I wouldn’t go back to this place. If it was free it’s dirty hot tub doesn’t open till 3 o’clock and they’re late opening the hot tub. I would avoid this place at all cost.

My wife and I stayed in 3 Peaks Lodge in Keystone, CO in one room on the first floor the third week of August 2024. The room was very clean with a very comfy large bed. It had a small kitchen with a microwave, sink and a mini stove, which was very convenient for us. We used a free shuttle bus to travel to Dillon and Silverton to do some shopping and dining. The bus stops are right in front of the hotel. The hotel stuff was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Will stay again here in the winter to do some snow skiing. The lifts are a walking distance from the hotel. The slopes have light so the night skiing is also available. Cannot wait to come back to 3 Peaks Lodge again in the winter. - Richard O.

Very pricey. Could not check in 45 or even 30 minutes before 4:00, the official check in time. There were dried up spills on the lobby tables where we had to wait to check in. There was marker writing on the bedside table and masking tape on the padlock on the room door. Windows were cracked. Fan in bathroom leaked water. There were black spots on the ceiling. Good points: This location is ideal however, as the slopes and ski/ride school drop off are a short walk across the street. The guy at the desk checking in was friendly and helped us when the tv wasn’t working. I just wish they had cleaned up and repaired the place a little. They advertised a continental breakfast but there isn’t one. We won’t stay again.

Boo! Just boo! We were locked out of our rooms at 11:30 p.m. Key cards didn't work. Not a big deal just go to the front desk. However the front desk isn't staffed! I waited 30 minutes (no one showed up). I called the emergency number posted on the front door and on the counter, and the phone rings in the drawer behind the counter. Finally at 1:00 a.m. me and some other helpful guests crossed the counter and tried to find a way to break in to no avail.

My children and I had to sleep on the couches for 2 hours in the middle of a weekend night while a bunch of drunk people sauntered through. My kids were uneasy and had to be reassured. My daughter has to pee outside in the freezing cold between two cars while I held up a jacket to block the elaborate exterior camera network. A random dog escaped and joined us as refugees in our hotel.

Finally, around 2 am a kind stranger (and grateful dog owner) let us sleep in his extra bunk beds. It was a very poor nights sleep. We were all too tired to ski the next day ruining our ski weekend. I wasn't able to retrieve our belongings from the room until 7:00 a.m. next day. I was assured I would be issued a refund. 11 days and three phone calls later I still have not received the promised call from the owner, nor any kind of refund. I am now going through the credit card company. I did get offered the excuse “we get a lot of requests for refunds so sometimes it takes a while to get a call back.”

The hotel is nothing nothing special. The management is abysmal. I definitely wouldn't stay here with children in case there's any need from the hotel staff.

I booked on booking ast time I stayed there. We showed up and there were issues getting our room. After waiting for nearly seven hours we finally got a room. There was another family that booked with Booking that did not get a room even though they had a confirmation. The owner does not seem to care what goes on and it all seems sketchy. It really is too bad as the place is in a great locatiin and the rooms aren’t terrible.

Not sure about this one....I think you'll have to contact the lodge directly...they might have a suggestion of a place for you to go in the area even if they only rent nightly.

Yes there's a free bus shuttle that runs from the hotel to keystone resort/mountain and there are a ton of shops and restaurants right at the base of the mountain :)

Is there usually enough snow to ski in the middle of October?

Usually not (check weather data to verify). You are better off waiting until November.

Yes, if it is a kitchette suite, yes it did. I know it had pots and pans and utensils. I can't remember what it had for plates, etc...but i would bring paper plates and bowls just in case...that's what we used b/c I happened to have brought them. Breakfast was bagels, whole wheat bread, peanut butter, honey, jelly, cereal, fruit, coffee, OJ, Apple juice, hot chocolate.
