We stayed there for about one week. We had a single and a double bed room. The hotel is older, but they keep it really clean. The management staff goes over and beyond to help with whatever you need. Mini fridge was brand new, microwave worked perfect. Rooms were both really cold with the ac on. The town is very,... More

First time we stayed it was great. Slept well. No problems. Second time was a nightmare. Asked for quiet room and I was next to the stairs that reverberated into the room with a TV that did not work. Changed rooms. TV worked but shower was broken. No shower. You have to be kidding me. No response out of the... More

Decent hotel, think old holiday style. When checking in there is a sign on the desk that you can preview the room before paying, however no refunds. Mmh..what to do what to do. I didn't preview because it was the only place we could stay because the snow storm closed the highway. Checked into a room with a double bed.... More

We arrived to the motel around 8:30pm. We had been on the road all day and had promised our children we would stay at a motel with a pool. The Platte Valley Inn does have an outdoor pool but upon arrival we were told the pool was already closed for the night and would not reopen until 10am the next... More

Was very pleased with my room. Non smoking room did Not smell like stale cigarettes! Bonus right off the bat. My room was in better condition than some newer more expensive places. New is not Always better. Will definitely stay again. Clean, quiet, safe and comfortable. Across from Colorado welcome / Visitors center. Worth checking out and take a walk to... More

Heading NE on I-76, it was late, dark, and I was tired. Julesburg was the next exit, so I took it. It looked like there was nothing in this town but a motel and a gas station. The motel is old and looks like it might mostly accommodate hunters and road workers. The lady at the reception desk was friendly... More

On return leg of our motorcycle trip. Needed to stop for an overnight. We were in Sterling and looking for hotels down the road and booked this one on Expedia. The problem with this is that the booking goes through the owners computer and not the one at the hotel itself so the staff apparently has no idea who is... More

There was a Florida-Georgia Line concert in North Platte and that was our destination after driving 12 hours but the only hotel before Denver was the Platte Valley Inn in Julesburg. I would rather drive 4 more hours before I would spend another night there. The only word is DISGUSTING and the cost was outrageous for what you get. There... More

Room was way to hot. We had to angle the table and hang the blanket to block the bathroom off so the room could cool faster, which took 2+ hours. Couldn't get the front desk to answer some we could get the WiFi password. Beds were very uncomfortable. It was clean, easily accessible and a place to (try to) sleep.

We stopped because it was getting late and could not find another hotel nearby except for one by a prison (!). The lady at the front desk was very nice. The room was horrible. Very very outdated and dirty. The door to the room had places where old locks had been removed and the one on the door at the... More
