I have stayed here more than 5 times, every time I book a tree cabin. The best view and cozy. If you are looking for so comfortable feel. Do not book the tree cabin. But my self and my wife love that because of the vibe it gives us. Food is great. nothing to complain about and really worth the amount we spent on food. also, we have to walk a bit to reach the restaurant.
We got accommodations at this place for one night. Very friendly staff and very pleasant place to enjoy. We had great night,?comfortable rooms to spend our day. If anyone visits Arugambay just go this place experience the taste of freedom.
Very friendly staff and good food..very pleasant place to chill with friends , this place is very cheap and good for locals to have fun at evening or night near to beach..this place is very beautiful at night.
This was a first visit to the delights of Arugam Bay, but it was in the depths of the off season, so all a bit deserted and casual. The room was a creaky place on stilts overlooking a sitting area on the edge of the long and spectacular beach - roaring quite spectacularly at this time of year. It was comfortable enough, just, with a quirky bathroom not making any semblance of luxury. But we didn't expect any, given this was a place offering very good value for money. And not unpleasant to be lulled to sleep by the close-by breakers. The reception and restaurant were a little way back along a lane, with a small parking area and spread out tables under trees. It all promised to be cosy and a little exotic. We had two dinners and two breakfasts here, but they were not memorable and the service was somewhat casual too. I am prepared to put this disappointment (see other reviews) down to our being virtually the only guests - even the chef's entitled to a holiday. The most memorable experience of our stay here was a wonderful, nay sensational, safari in Kumana NP. For that, Beach Hut was a more than adequate base.…
This was a great find! Best iced coffee in Sri Lanka! Had a great selection of food, we ended up here for breakfast and lunch! The service was a bit slow some times, but everything else made up for that! It also had the best wifi in Arugam Bay, maybe even Sri Lanka!
