We stayed here on a tour and then traveled to Mesa Verde. The rooms are spacious and clean. Our breakfast was good but would have loved to see bananas at breakfast. The dinner we bought was very good with reasonable prices.
Chose Sky Ute Resort to be close to Navajo Lake and had a wonderful stay. Entire facility has gone smoke free, including the casino so that was a real plus! Bowling alley was a great time for the family but the putt putt golf was still closed due to Covid. The rooms are wonderful with some of the nicest treatments and finishing we’ve experienced. Beds were excellent! The best treat was the on-site steakhouse which we were able to experience as they had just reopened. Was one of the best meals, ever!! Price-value for entire resort was good and the entire staff were exceptional and welcoming. Highly recommend this property. We did not try out the pool on this visit but it looked nice.
Worst casino, ever… In Durango for a night getaway and decided to check it out. Beautiful place, but was practically a ghost town on a Friday night There were maybe 30 players, most of the restaurants and gift shops were closed and not a single player on any table games. Should have been a red flag. Played a few slots. No wins over a few dollars. No bonuses. Nothing Didn’t see anyone winning more than a $20 jackpot. It was so bad we walked out just shaking our heads The place has huge potential, but if NOBODY wins, then nobody comes back. There is no excuse for the location to be empty on a Friday at 7:00. Need to replace the management
What a lovely, laidback place to relax. Our two nights in one of the executive suites were heavenly. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. Durango and Mesa Verde were not far and the roads were good.
Our travel group stayed here for an easy start for our area trips. The casino is not what I expected. The gaming tables are only open on the weekends. The machines are mostly open. The drinks from the bar were very good. The rooms were very comfortable. Our breakfast buffet was delicious. The first dinner we had, beef stew, was terrible. Our second dinner, Cesar salad was great.
Comfortable and safe stay. We traveled with our 2 small kids (7 and 8 years old) and the room's space and hotel's pools and food options provided us with a nice stay during our Durango & Mesa Verde exploration stop. I would stay again. Room: nicely decorated, minor wear & tear, a small balcony (no chairs), was very clean, quiet, and had a fridge/microwave. Beds were comfortable. Food: We ate breakfast at Willows Café Bistro. Good food and overall $. Pool: Indoor pool and hot tub. The pool was a bit cool for the adult's taste but the kids enjoyed it. Hot tub was certainly hot. Towels and clean restrooms onsite. We enjoyed it every day at night after a long active day out. Smoking: We were told the entire hotel and casino were non-smoking, and during our 2 night stay we did not smell any smoke.…
Weekend trip to Ignacio, Colorado was a nice afternoon drive. Headed up there for some gaming entertainment which was overdue. We had a great time playing, and that evening had dinner. Which was great, and returned home late in the evening. Always fun and great place to play and also stay. Next time we’ll stay and play.
We stayed overnight so we could attend a basketball tournament. I had not stayed there before though my mom wanted to see the casino. Our stay was great and I wished we could have stayed another night. The rooms were clean and our non-smoking room had no smoke smell (sometimes with a smokey casino, people bring the smoke with them). It was a large room with great price. The best part, the rooms were quiet. I mean, you literally could not hear occupants around you, in the hall, or their tvs. Great for kids and adults - casino, swimming pool, and bowling ally. May just have to go back for the heck of it! Great cultural center just down the road (walkable). Go visit if you don't know the area (even if you do).
We stayed here for one night in Suite 300. The room is so perfect. Big living room with a large tv and comfy furniture. When we first entered, we thought the electricity was off. Called the desk and they told us to turn on the master switch in the entry and presto, we had electricity. The bed is a king poster bed and the mattress was great. Lots of pillows. The soaker tub was wonderful and there is a separate shower. Light up mirror is nice for make up application. Two robes made lounging nice. The shampoo, etc look locally made. If you can splurge or get a comp suite here, do it!
I'm not much of a gambler but I stayed at the resort so I could catch an early flight from the Durango airport. The room was outstanding - quiet, clean, roomy, reasonably priced, and tastefully decorated. I woke up very rested and wished I could have dawdled a little longer and had a little time to enjoy the hotel. I would definitely stay here again and it's only a 15 minute drive to the airport. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
